Order book approach to price impact

Buying and selling stocks causes price changes, which are described by the price impact function. To explain the shape of this function, we study the Island ECN orderbook. In addition to transaction data, the orderbook contains information about potential supply and demand for a stock. The virtual price impact calculated from this information is four times stronger than the actual one and explains it only partially. However, we find a strong anticorrelation between price changes and order flow, which strongly reduces the virtual price impact and provides for an explanation of the empirical price impact function.     

CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE INTERNET‐ENABLED LOGISTICS SUPPLY CHAIN: WEBSITE DESIGN ANTECEDENTS AND LOYALTY EFFECTS

This article extends the existing research on logistics customer service‐loyalty relationships to the online logistics supply chain environment by examining potential website determinants of logistics customer service quality. A structural equation analysis of 373 online shopping transactions suggests that perceived quality of all logistics customer service activities (perceived cycle time, in‐stock availability, and customer responsiveness) varies inversely with: (1) perceived ease of use, and (2) content vividness of the website; and positively with product information content. However, only retailer customer responsiveness assessment was found to have any significant influence on consumer intended loyalty behavior in Internet‐enabled supplies chains.

制度安排是社会状态函数的一个关键性变量，因此，相应的制度安排是构建社会主义和谐社会的关键之所在。而和谐的制度安排应立足于其根本的“基础设施”——政府、市场、社会自身及其关系的和谐，然后构建其对策性的制度安排：合理的利益协调机制、利益沟通与谈判的机制、有序的社会流动机制、表达与参与机制、以社会公平、正义为核心的价值评价机制。

科研是提高大学发展水平最直接和最有效的推进器。对条件相对落后的西部高校而言，科研管理部门要用良好的开放心态，创立优秀的科研工作平台，吸引四方人才，激发科研活力。对科研人员要“不求所有，但求所用”，通过规范管理制度、创新管理思维，关注相关领域科学研究全局，因势利导，顺水推舟，促进本校科研水平不断攀上新台阶。     

规范收入分配秩序 推进收入分配改革

改革开放三十多年来,中国居民收入大幅增长,但分配失衡的问题也日益凸显。收入分配秩序是否合理直接关系到收入分配的结果是否公平,关系到经济增长的好处能否有效地惠及各个阶层。因此,本文认为推进收入分配改革,首先应规范收入分配秩序。本文采用对比分析和实证分析的方法,总结出当前我国收入分配秩序中存在的主要问题:垄断行业工资过高、公务员工资制度不合理,灰色收入多,农民工工资低且拖欠现象严重,税收调节力度不够。最终提出了规范当前收入分配秩序的政策建议。     

论国际货币清算规则下的本币金融开放

与目前社会上普遍存在的认知不同,本文认为我国的金融对外开放早已启动,只不过是以外币开放的形式进行。根据货币的国际清算规则,这种以外币主导的金融开放,其结果只是使国内涉外领域中的货币错配现象日趋严重．迄今为止,也还没有任何一个发展中国家能够在外币主导的金融对外开放中获得成功。而以人民币开展跨境贸易结算所带来的本币金融对外开放则有实质性的不同,依据目前跨境贸易人民币结算的两种清算模式．人民币的对外开放,不仅降低了开放难度和货币错配风险,且对外风险可控,有利于金融市场自然形成对外开放和金融服务水平的提高。     

Order release planning with clearing functions: A queueing-theoretical analysis of the clearing function concept

We consider the problem of planning future order releases in hierarchical production planning and control systems. An established research direction is the clearing function concept: the planned material flow through a production unit is modelled by inventory balance equations for WIP and final products, and the consequences of the stochastic properties of the material flow are modelled by clearing functions, which is the functional relationship between the level of WIP and the maximum output of a work centre in a period.Using a transient M/M/1 model, our paper shows that the usual definition of a nonlinear clearing function suffers from substantial shortcomings concerning both the definition of the function and empirical estimation of its parameters. We propose an alternative transient clearing function and derive a procedure for its parameterization.     

New batch construction heuristics to optimise the performance of order picking systems

Two new batch construction heuristics called K-means Batching (KMB) and Self-organisation Map Batching (SOMB) are developed and verified by simulation experiments. Both KMB and SOMB have a preferment of superior performance in total travel distance and average picking vehicle utility, and even a conspicuous improvement in total CPU running time. Besides, this paper investigates the overall performance of order picking systems integrating storage assignment, order batching and picker routing to find the optimal policy combinations under different order types. The sensitivity analysis is performed to distinguish the relative importance of the various strategies to enhance the performance of operations management.     

透明度变化对股票市场投资者委托单提交行为和交易成本影响研究

基于2003年12月8日沪深交易所交易前市场透明度改革背景,本文利用一家营业部的投资者报价和交易数据,研究同一个机构投资者和散户投资者在透明度改革前后委托单提交激进程度的变化,以及这种变化对其完成交易的成本的影响。我们发现,透明度改革前后,机构投资者的委托单提交激进程度都显著大于散户投资者的委托单提交激进程度。透明度增加以后,机构投资者的委托单激进程度显著减少,而散户投资者的委托单提交激进程度增加。同时发现,透明度增加以后,机构投资者通过分拆委托单,增加交易次数,导致完成交易的时间增加,但价格影响力基本没有变化,散户投资者的成交时间和价格影响力有显著改善。
