刍议旅客列车刑事案件侦查管辖的重构

目前旅客列车刑事案件侦查管辖模式的不合理是导致旅客列车违法犯罪没有得到真正、有效打击的主要原因。从诉讼价值的最大化出发，应对旅客列车违法犯罪侦查管辖进行重构，即旅客列车上的刑事案件由列车运行地铁路公安处管辖。所谓运行地铁路公安机关管辖是指当旅客列车运行在某一个铁路公安处的辖区内，列车上发生的刑事案件由该辖区所属的铁路公安处进行立案、侦查等相关的诉讼活动。     

The nexus between firm-supply-chain relationships and the potential for tourism development: A case study approach

This exploratory study examines the importance of firm-supply chain relationships for tourism development. Based upon prior observations, two firms seeking to boost their tourism offerings and operating in a popular Vietnamese tourist destination were selected. Semi-structured face-to-face and online interviews were conducted and complemented by on-site visits, and firm information. Various salient dimensions emerged from the data analysis. The ‘performance catalyst’ and ‘detectable value adding’ dimensions underscore the supply chain's benefits, while the ‘discerning relations’ dimension highlights deeper relationships through mutual support, building trust, or demonstrating care. Conceptually, the study proposes a framework with associated theoretical and practical implications.     

传动箱体消失模铸造工艺中的缺陷问题

为了解决消失模铸造传动箱体中铸件结构复杂、上口处容易变形、加工量较小、工艺设计及制造难度较大、容易造成废品等问题,从铸件模型的生产过程出发,根据铸件的结构特点,分析了模型废品产生的原因,对浇注系统的设计及造型过程进行了改进研究,对铸造生产过程中存在的冷隔缺陷、水汽冷隔缺陷、铸件起包、涂料夹渣、内浇口部位夹渣、泥条夹渣、内浇口处黏砂、硬木条处黏砂等问题提出了具体的解决方案,使传动箱体的成品率稳定控制在95%以上,为传动箱体消失模铸造类似产品的生产提供了很好的借鉴依据,对消失模铸件的生产具有一定的参考价值。     

基于典型案例研究的中国湿地生态补偿模式探析

湿地是介于陆地和水域自然生态系统间的过渡地带,是地球自然生态系统的重要组成部分,湿地生态系统具有极高的生态价值和科研价值,湿地生态补偿是保护湿地资源的有效途径。本研究依据湿地生态补偿相关理论,分析湿地生态补偿典型案例的,提出针对性的建议:确定湿地资源权属,出台湿地生态补偿法律法规及建立合理的湿地生态补偿模式。     

Institutional Root Cause of the Irregularity of Social Security Funds in China

This paper analyzes institutional defects in the Chinese social security system, based on irregularities in social security funds revealed in the Audit Report by the China National Audit Office. The author divides the irregularities into five categories according to the nature of fund use. The results show that the institutional root cause of the irregularities lies in the unreasonable design and operation of the social security system, which currently faces management and institutional risks. This paper argues that simple rhetoric about strengthening regulation and supervision cannot help to reduce illegal practices, or to realize risk control. The only solution is to reform the social security system. Specifically, the Chinese Government should regulate the administrative cost of the social security system, and the behavior of its agencies, through legislation, reform the investment regime to increase rate of return of pension assets, and adjust and reshape the existing social security system, so as to elevate its pooling level.     

Driving-market or market-driven? A case study analysis of the new product development practices of Chinese business-to-business firms

Our current understanding of NPD processes among Chinese firms is limited. Early evidence suggests that the drivers of new product success in the PRC might be different to those in the West. Much of the more recent (Western) literature implicitly identifies the importance of both driving-market and market-driven approaches to NPD success, although what this translates into in practice is less clear. Drawing on multiple case studies, we identify four types of NPD practice in Chinese B2B firms and explore the reasons for variation in performance between the four. Critically, the most successful firms were found to be those characterised by a driving-market approach, rather than those relying solely on relationships and reacting to changing market phenomena.     

Enhancing Business Ethics: Using Cases to Teach Moral Reasoning

The growing trend of required ethics instruction in the business school curriculum has created a need for relevant teaching materials. In response to this need the Journal of Business Ethics is introducing a new case section. This section provides a forum for publishing and accessing a range of materials that can be used in teaching business ethics. This article discusses how business ethics cases can facilitate the development of deductive, inductive and critical reasoning skills.
