New Concept of Unified Regional Development

In the request of ＂Five Unifications＂ put forward on the Third Session of the sixteen＇s CCP Congress, the Unified Regional Development occupies a very important position. The new concept of this new strategy has exceeded all regional development strategies in the past. The macro-nature of implementation scale and gradual characteristic of implementation steps show that the Unified Regional Development is a long-term strategy, which is given consideration to both equity and efficiency and fully reflects the art of regional management.

Social protection and regional convergence in a European Monetary Union

This paper addresses convergence in social protection and GDP in a European Economic and Monetary Union. We evaluate the impact of recently proposed EC social minimum requirements on regional convergence within the EC. Subsequently, we analyze a system of differentiated social norms as a means of raising social protection in countries with lower social standards.

现阶段京津地区的区域旅游合作态势主要呈现出了如下三个方面的特征：一是目前京津地区的区域旅游合作尚处于松散的状态；二是政府部门的合作意愿一般要高于旅游产业部门及旅游行业协会；三是京津两市相比较。天津方面的合作积极性要远高于北京方面；四是京津地区的政府旅游业管理部门彼此间缺乏有效的沟通与协调机制。为改变此现状，当务之急应是要找准合作的切入点和真正建立起一个有效的能促进京津地区区域旅游合作有序展开的协调机制。

Mechanism of realizing industrial structure upgrading through technology-driven regional innovation capacity

Based on the analysis of the formation process of regional innovation capacity, this paper expatiates that the technology is the basis for industrial structure upgrading, while technological innovation is the power of regional innovation capacity. It points out that the essential of regional industrial structure upgrading is the transition of regional technology structure from one balance to another. The mechanism of realizing industrial structure upgrading through technology-driven regional innovation capacity is also discussed briefly.     

论综合性集群在企业竞争中的作用

文章讨论了集群的本质属性，并以世界几个地区为例进行了解释说明。迄今为止，集群概念尚未被人们完全理解，很多关于集群发展的问题有待探讨。文章就综合性集群内的经营管理和IT问题作了简要的分析和讨论。     

柚子─—咖啡群落生态、经济效益的初步分析

根据柚子和小粒种咖啡的生理生态特点，构建柚子─—咖啡人工群落。此结构具改善栽培环境，促进咖啡生长，增强咖啡抗病虫害能力等良好的生态效益。单位面积上的经济收入比纯咖啡园有明显提高，减少了咖啡种植的经济风险，是滇南咖啡园中较优的组合栽培结构。     

泛珠江三角洲经济结构差异、成因及合作策略研究

本文以泛珠江三角洲区域①内具有代表性的广东、湖南、贵州三省为研究对象,采用可变弹性生产函数法和全要素生产率法分析三省的经济差距及其原因。实证分析表明,广东省率先进行改革开放的制度变革及由此吸收了更多的投资、形成了更多的固定资本是拉开经济差距的关键因素。文章最后在总结广东经济发展路径依赖的基础上,提出了泛珠江三角洲区域经济合作竞争的路径选择：发挥比较优势．形成竞争优势。
