基于云计算的虚拟桌面的架构方案探析

虚拟桌面是典型的云计算应用,它能够在云中为用户提供远程的计算机桌面服务。服务提供者在数据中心服务器上运行用户所需的操作系统和应用软件,然后采用桌面显示协议将操作系统桌面视图以图像的方式传送到用户端设备上。同时,服务器将对用户端的输入进行处理,并随时更新桌面视图的内容。通过分析某企业虚拟桌面的需求,探讨基于云计算概念设计虚拟桌面的架构方案。     

安全自动装置在高压失稳电网中的配置方案研究

高压电网发生功角稳定、过载等问题时,会严重影响到电网的安全稳定运行,若不及时采取相应措施,轻者会导致元件受损或烧毁,重者甚至会导致整个或局部电网失稳、解列。本文以西北某省330、110kV区域电网为算例,针对高压电网中几种最为常见的安全稳定问题,提出了简单、可靠的解决措施和相应的安全自动装置配置方案。具有较强的实用性和较高的典型性。     

多目标模糊分析法在移民搬迁安置中的应用

水利工程的建设不可避免地带来大量的非自愿移民,如何妥善解决好移民的搬迁安置问题是政府部门工作的重点。文章以走马塘工程移民搬迁安置方案为例,利用多目标模糊分析法对移民搬迁安置的各种安置方案进行了分析和优选,得出的结论与实际具有较强的一致性。因此,多目标模糊分析法在移民安置方案优选中具有较强的实用性,可为有关部门进行移民方案优选提供参考和借鉴作用。     

Quantiles as optimal point forecasts

Loss functions play a central role in the theory and practice of forecasting. If the loss function is quadratic, the mean of the predictive distribution is the unique optimal point predictor. If the loss is symmetric piecewise linear, any median is an optimal point forecast. Quantiles arise as optimal point forecasts under a general class of economically relevant loss functions, which nests the asymmetric piecewise linear loss, and which we refer to as generalized piecewise linear (GPL). The level of the quantile depends on a generic asymmetry parameter which reflects the possibly distinct costs of underprediction and overprediction. Conversely, a loss function for which quantiles are optimal point forecasts is necessarily GPL. We review characterizations of this type in the work of Thomson, Saerens and Komunjer, and relate to proper scoring rules, incentive-compatible compensation schemes and quantile regression. In the empirical part of the paper, the relevance of decision theoretic guidance in the transition from a predictive distribution to a point forecast is illustrated using the Bank of England’s density forecasts of United Kingdom inflation rates, and probabilistic predictions of wind energy resources in the Pacific Northwest.

Cost data quality considerations for eco-efficiency measures

Cost data are a central aspect of eco-efficiency measures, either as means to assess value of production, or, more directly, as one dimension of the efficiency ratio. Several aspects may affect the quality of cost data, among them definitions, time and space, and confidentiality issues. Somewhat surprisingly, cost data quality has received little attention in the field of sustainability and eco-efficiency so far. Even worse, perhaps, is the lack of tools suitable for a cost data quality assessment and management.This paper discusses parameters that affect cost data quality, and will then propose a pedigree matrix as a tool designed for managing cost data quality issues. The application of the matrix is described, also in combination with a previously proposed, and broadly used, pedigree matrix for environmental data quality management.
