The production of tourism in Ponta Negra,Northeast Brazil: policies,representations and logics of desire

This article discusses how the beach neighbourhood of Ponta Negra (Natal, RN), in the Northeast of Brazil, came to experience the intensive tourist development that now characterises it. Its origins as a fishing village, its gradual emergence as a local resort and the internationalisation of its tourism in the late twentieth century are examined. The discussion of this process demonstrates how public policies have played a major role not only in configuring the model of spatial planning and urbanisation that was adopted, but also in defining Europe as the main geographical focus of tourist internationalisation, in creating attractive conditions for foreign investment, and in the construction and dissemination of a tourist identity largely founded on past images and desires. At the same time, this discussion of Ponta Negra’s tourist-capitalist appropriation, Europeanisation and its (re)production as a site of racialised desires contributes to a better understanding of the ambivalent spatialities and multiple tensions that coexist in the neighbourhood today. The analysis presented here draws on empirical data collected during a period of ethnographic fieldwork in which the predominant methodologies included participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documental and statistical research.

Public entrepreneurship: desiring social change,creating sociality

In this paper we want to affirm the desiring-social-change that we find in practices presently represented by theorists and policy-makers as examples of ‘social entrepreneurship’ (SE). We do this as an attempt to intensify the presence of the social and sociality in today's discourse on the entrepreneurship–society relationship. SE, as all entrepreneurship practices, operates by social and economic forces (limiting ourselves to those here), and generates social and economic outcomes (amongst others). Its second half, however, dominates the concept of SE, and our analysis seek to remedy this imbalance by focusing on the social productivity of entrepreneurship, on entrepreneurship desiring social change. We suggest ‘public entrepreneurship’ might grasp this as a more balanced concept that will also support a more precise analysis of the entrepreneurship–society relationship.     

价值需求的边际欲望与边际效用及其研究意义

人对物质的价值需求是有限的,对精神的价值需求是无限的。人对价值的需求或占有实际上是一个过程,且表现出特有的规律。一是人对价值占有的边际心理欲望递增与边际效用递减的二律背反规律;二是人对价值付出的心理边际欲望递减与边际效用递减呈同向关系的规律。研究这些规律,对于增进价值包容与价值和谐,有非常重要的理论意义和现实意义。     

城市居民的居住期望及其对养老方式选择的影响

以城市居民为研究对象,从江苏省四个城市随机抽取813位居民进行访问式问卷调查,以居住安排与养老方式的关系作为分析视角,从个体特征,家庭的社会经济地位,居住结构状况,养老观念等几个纬度出发,经由交互分析和Logistic回归分析的方法,具体阐明了城市居民的居住期望和养老意愿的现状,并进而论证了影响他们做此选择的可能因素。多数城市居民老年时将独自(与配偶)居住,依靠社会化养老或自我服务可能会成为城市居民安度晚年的主流形式。     

经济水平对生育意愿的影响分析——一项经验研究:基于621份调查问卷的数据

随着社会经济的发展,我国城乡居民的生育意愿相对于传统的生育意愿有了明显的变化,这种变化是包括经济水平等多种因素共同作用的结果。作为一项经验研究,对621份调查问卷作了数据分析。经济水平对生育意愿有一定的影响,但影响有限;且同时表现出一定的滞后性。这和中国受浓重传统文化影响且目前社会养老制度不健全等因素有相当大的关系。     

浅析公司治理对内部审计的需求

近年来,国际内部审计协会对内部审计从概念、本质、内容、作用等方面进行不断深入、科学地界定,内部审计活动不仅包括确认活动,还包括咨询活动;内部审计内容从传统财务审计发展到管理审计、战略审计;由单纯的防护性作用提高到建设性作用;从事后审计向事前审计发展;从账项基础审计向风险导向审计发展。内部审计已被看成是与董事会、高级管理层和外部审计构成有效公司治理的四大基石之一。在这样的背景下,分析我国公司内部审计可以提供的服务内容,了解内外部利益相关者对内部审计的需求和期望具有十分重要的意义。
