构建全球化时代爱国主义价值体系的思考

全球化时代,爱国主义的价值没有弱化反而凸显,因此,构建一个顺应这个时代要求、具有时代特色的爱国主义价值体系,意义重大.全球化时代构建的爱国主义价值体系,应该以全球作为价值视野、以理性作为价值特征、以宽容作为价值要求、还要以人本性作为它的价值基础.     

Open economy and financial burden of corruption: theory and application to Asia

We discuss why corruption remains high and show that corruption contributes to the Banking distress and to the rapid transmission across international stock and currency markets. Undeveloped ‘derivative securities’ markets make the risk from stress-induced volatility difficult to manage. Vinod’s (1999) closed economy model is extended to indicate the asymmetry of ‘home bias’ and the effect of corruption on the value at risk (VaR). Our theory predicts that capital flight controls will be many, foreign direct investment (FDI) will be low and cost of capital will be high in corrupt developing countries, which is supported by Asian data. We include some policy recommendations regarding financial institutions and markets.     

沿海欠发达地区经济联动开发模式研究——以江苏沿海开发为例

区域经济联动发展作为一种区域经济合作方式,受到密切关注。沿海欠发达地区面对经济高地的压力,要紧紧抓住其发展机遇,充分挖掘自身优势,打造新的经济发展模式,才能赶超经济发达地区。本文在总结国内区域经济联动发展理论与实践的基础上,提出沿海欠发达地区要建立多角度、多层次的经济联动开发模式。首先要实现城市联动,通过不断强化中心城市的集聚、扩散作用和壮大县域经济实力,打造经济中心与腹地经济联动发展的沿海经济圈;其次要实现产业联动,通过传统特色产业与新兴高科技产业联动和陆地产业与海洋产业联动相结合,打造支柱产业与新兴产业联动发展的沿海经济带;还要实现＂港口-城镇-产业＂联动,通过港口与城镇联动和港口与产业联动,打造港口、产业和城镇三位一体的港口经济区。希望可以为沿海欠发达地区的经济发展提供理论依据和借鉴参考。     

Transitioning and co-evolving to upgrade value offerings: A competence-based marketing view

This article shows how subcontractors in the steel and metalworking industry can effectively upgrade their customer value offerings. The study intends to identify internal and external drivers for successful transitions. It builds on the IMP's (Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group) research tradition by looking into value creation and competence-based marketing within business networks. Using qualitative methods, the research identifies ‘ideal’ value-added market positions and relates these to specific competence configurations. It also reveals the need to manage co-evolution with other network partners in order to make a successful transition from basic to value-added offerings. The paper contributes to business marketing science by looking explicitly into the mechanisms of internal alignment when upgrading value offerings (a pre-condition often overlooked in extant literature) and by extending the concept of co-evolution.

‘Globesity’? The effects of globalization on obesity and caloric intake

We examine the effect of globalization, in its economic and social dimensions, on obesity and caloric intake, namely the so –called ‘globesity’ hypothesis. Our results suggest a robust association between globalization and both obesity and caloric intake. A one standard deviation increase in globalization is associated with a 23.8 percent increase in obese population and a 4.3 percent rise in calorie intake. The effect remains statistically significant even after using an instrumental variable strategy to correct for some possible reverse causality and ommited variable bias, a lagged structure, and corrections for panel standard errors. However, we find that the primary driver (of the ‘globesity’ phenomenon) is the ‘social’ rather than the ‘economic’ dimension of globalization, and specifically the effect of changes in ‘information flows’ and ‘social proximity’ on obesity. A one standard deviation increase in social globalization increased the percentage of obese population by 13.7 percent.

政治联系是近年国内外引人瞩目的研究领域。本文依照文献的发展脉络与逻辑关系,从政治联系的产生途径、影响因素、经济后果和有政治联系的高管从企业获得的利益等多个方面,对政治联系研究文献进行了梳理和归纳,以期能增进人们对企业政治联系的认识,并为进一步研究政治联系提供一些思路。     

京津冀区域经济协调发展的时空差异分析

本文选取了京津冀1985—2007年的时间序列数据,和目前三地172个区县的人均GDP数据,对京津冀区域内部经济发展的时空差异进行分析。研究认为,在经济发展时间差异方面,以1992年为节点呈现前后分异,在此之前,三地水平大致相当,在此之后,三地经济逐渐拉开差距;经济总量的位次由高至低依次为河北、北京、天津。在经济发展空间差异方面,区域内部经济增长空间分布不均衡,主要表现为北京、天津高于河北省;东部地区、西南地区高于北部、西北和东南地区。在此基础上探讨了京津冀区域经济协调发展时空差异的影响因素,并提出了相应的政策建议。     

企业经营业绩评价探析

企业业绩评价是经济体系中的核心问题,正确地进行企业经营业绩评价,无论对于企业的所有者还是经营者,都具有十分重要的意义。本文结合现代经济、技术发展的要求,提出了企业经营业绩评价的目的、主体和客体。同时,分析了当代企业经营业绩评价的主要方法,即经济增加值和平衡记分卡。最后指出在当前知识经济迅猛发展的环境下应以战略为切入点,以责任中心为基础来完善企业的业绩评价体系。
