The Chinese economy appears the double-restraint characteristic at present stage including mainly resources restraint and market restraint. With the policy of reform and opening up, and especially after accelerating the two fundamental changes put forward by central government, the transformation of the economic growth mode achieved positive progress in China. There was still no brand from China mainland belonging to the 100 top world valuable brands according to Business Weekly of America in 2006. By 2007, a total of 1957 China top brand, 10 world famous China top brand are awarded in china to form a powerful enterprise group. But how to assess a brand is still troublesome. This article evaluates the impact of credit constraints on the performance of Chinese agricultural wholesalers. We estimate a stochastic frontier function using transaction and credit data of agricultural wholesalers from across China to estimate the efficiency and productivity impacts of credit constraints on sales of affected agricultural wholesalers. Empirical results show that micro- and smaller wholesalers are disproportionally impacted by credit constraints and that eliminating these constraints would increase the sales of affected agricultural wholesalers by approximately 15%. Thus, policies aimed at providing credit access for these wholesalers would significantly boost the performance of smaller agricultural wholesalers while improving the overall performance of the Chinese food supply chain without requiring additional non-credit inputs.  相似文献

This paper is based on a study of the Chinese automobile market and industry and aims at proposing marketing recommendations for Chinese automakers. We approach the problem by putting the customer at the central focal point of all marketing operations. We look for agile opportunities in the Chinese automobile industry and identify customers' needs and expectations in the current and future markets and propose solutions to satisfy those needs. We, then, develop a strategic marketing framework based on the 5P marketing model and Blue Ocean Strategy to make best use of the agile opportunities.  相似文献

Assessment of regional trade and virtual water flows in China   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
The success of China's economic development has left deep marks on resource availability and quality. Some regions in China are relatively poor with regards to water resources. This problem is exacerbated by economic growth. Flourishing trade activities on both domestic and international levels have resulted in significant amounts of water withdrawal and water pollution. Hence the goal of this paper is to evaluate the current inter-regional trade structure and its effects on water consumption and pollution via ‘virtual water flows’. Virtual water is the water embedded in products and used in the whole production chain, and that is traded between regions or exported to other countries. For this assessment of trade flows and effects on water resources, we have developed an extended regional input-output model for eight hydro-economic regions in China to account for virtual water flows between North and South China. The findings show that the current trade structure in China is not very favorable with regards to water resource allocation and efficiency. North China as a water scarce region virtually exports about 5% of its total available freshwater resources while accepting large amounts of wastewater for other regions' consumption. By contrast, South China a region with abundant water resources is virtually importing water from other regions while their imports are creating waste water polluting other regions' hydro-ecosystems.  相似文献

To help the poor and to develop tourism are two mportant problems in poverty-stricken areas. However,they were isola ted for years. The PPET strategy was put forward in this paper based on PPT. 近来媒体关于全民炒股特别是上班族炒股升温的报道,敲响了股市泡沫崩溃的警钟,而推动股市泡沫走向崩溃的,则是全民炒股热和上班族炒股风.中国股票市场的两大缺陷是中国股市动辄形成严重泡沫的重要原因,要彻底消除股市泡沫,必须改变股票供给严重不足和股票需求异常增大的局面,并严肃八小时工作纪律,杜绝全民炒股特别是上班炒股风.在股市钱空的程度日趋严重的形势下,对股市泡沫崩溃及其严重影响必须有清醒的认识,做好充分的准备.  相似文献
