在位企业非连续性技术变革的技术代际桥研究

非连续性技术变革给在位企业带来巨大挑战,要求在位企业克服新技术研发困难和自身潜在惰性进行积极响应,在与新进入企业市场竞争中获取持续竞争优势,化解熊彼特提出的破坏性创新威胁。整合社会网络理论、知识管理理论及创新管理理论,以65家汽车综合型整车在位制造企业为样本,通过搭建发明家桥、合作研发桥、混合技术桥等3个维度的技术代际桥,探讨在位企业如何在维持两代技术阶段性平衡的前提下提高新技术创新绩效。结果发现：发明家桥与企业新技术创新绩效呈倒U型关系;合作研发桥和混合技术桥对企业新技术创新绩效具有显著促进作用;旧技术创新绩效负向调节发明家桥与新技术创新绩效的倒U型关系。研究旨在为在位企业应对非连续性技术变革,提高新技术创新绩效提供相应的对策建议。     

中关村科技园区高新技术企业技术创新模式研究

概括了中关村科技园区高新技术企业发展及创新现状,分析总结了中关村高新技术企业存在原始创新、集成创新和二次创新3种技术创新模式,并对3种模式的特征分别进行了研究。最后指出研究中关村高新技术企业技术创新模式,对探索我国高新技术企业技术创新发展道路将有很好的借鉴作用。     

基于企业改制问题的内部审计研究

我国企业改制过程中暴露出的问题引起了各方的关注,人们在把规范企业改制的目光投向外部监督的同时,更要从改制企业的内部找原因而内部审计作为现代企业内部控制的重要组成部分,显得尤为重要。随着越来越多的规范内部审计的法规的颁布,企业内部治理环境的改善,内部审计的地位及其重要性也得到了提升,内部审计应据此发挥其职能作用,维护企业改制的公允性。     

Human resources in Sino-foreign joint ventures: selected case studies in Shanghai,compared with Beijing

This article examines HRM in joint ventures (JVs) in Shanghai compared with those in Beijing using a case-study approach. It focuses primarily on issues relating to labour contracts, rewards and benefits, social insurance, trade unions and personnel policies, and describes current developments in China in each of these areas. In order to place these JV human resource practices in context, we also draw on interviews in state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Shanghai and Beijing. Taking as a starting point a summary of traditional SOE 'iron rice-bowl' ( tie fan wan ) practices in the management of personnel, we ask to what extent HRM in the present JV sample differs from traditional methods and to what extent 'iron rice-bowl' practices continue despite foreign ownership. The extent to which HR practices in JVs are distinct from those in contemporary SOEs is also examined. We conclude that, although, as one would expect, foreign ownership has modified traditional practice, the degree and extent to which this is true varies widely. There is strong evidence of institutional and organizational continuity in 'iron rice-bowl' practices in both JVs and SOEs. Finally we propose a framework for categorizing the companies investigated in terms of their distance from traditional 'iron rice-bowl' HR practices and proximity to 'imported' practices. This consists of two 'pure' and two hybrid categories: pure 'iron rice-bowl'; hybrid I (predominantly local); hybrid II (predominantly imported): and, finally, pure imported. In this schema, the companies examined do not however group neatly according to whether they are JVs or SOEs.

The role of consumers' attitude towards economic climate in their reaction to ‘PL-only’ assortments: Evidence from the United States and Spain

Retailers’ assortment rationalisation strategies have found an “ally” in the current global economic crisis. Indeed, retail boycotts of individual brands in economic recession contexts are not uncommon in the CPG industry. In fact, many of the consumers who began buying PLs during the economic recession are continuing their PL behaviour post-recession. So, what is the role of the economic climate in consumers’ reaction– in terms of store loyalty – to retailers’ NB delisting decisions? Is it so relevant? This paper examines how consumers’ attitude towards the economic climate influences his/her reaction to retailers’ strategy of offering ‘PL-only’ assortments in the context of an economic slump (Spain) compared to a context of economic recovery (U.S.). To do so, we have designed a controlled online experiment for two large consumer panels in the Spanish and the U.S. markets. Our results suggest that consumers’ acceptance of ‘PL-only’ assortments is a separate phenomenon rather than merely being a “consequence” of the current economic situation. Nevertheless, in an economic recovery, such ‘PL-only’ assortments do not appear to be the best strategy.     

Sarbanes–Oxley Act and patterns in stock returns around executive stock option exercise disclosures

We document negative stock returns and elevated trading volumes around executives’ early option exercise disclosures post‐SOX, but not pre‐SOX. This stock price reaction is incomplete, and the negative stock price drift is smaller post‐SOX compared to pre‐SOX. We also show effects of media coverage in the stock price response to exercise disclosures in the post‐SOX period. These findings provide evidence that the requirement mandated by SOX to disclose executives’ stock option exercises within two business days, and the increased media coverage, improves investors’ ability to incorporate into stock prices in a timely fashion the information conveyed by these exercises.
