福建与台湾合作建构私募股权基金初探

私募股权基金是推动产业格局整合的核心推动力.近年来，国内私募股权投资基金得到了迅猛发展，但福建省发展私募股权基金的脚步较为滞后。福建省应以《关于支持福建省加快建设海峡西岸经济区的若干意见》和《两岸金融监管合作备忘录（MOU）》为契机，与台湾合作发展私募股权基金，推动闽台金融合作先行先试。     

A theoretical analysis of optimal financing strategies for different types of capital-constrained entrepreneurs

In this paper, we compare two alternative financing strategies that capital-constrained entrepreneurs can adopt: they can either wait until they raised enough money to complete their project (the more conservative strategy) or use limited resources to achieve some intermediate milestone before contacting large outside investors such as venture capitalists (the more adventurous strategy). We examine how the choice of financing strategy is affected by entrepreneurial types (life-style, serial and pure profit-maximizing entrepreneur). We show that specific entrepreneurial characteristics may ultimately affect the shape of firms as they may pursue different strategies to achieve similar goals. The paper generates a number of empirical predictions on security design, the interplay between angel and venture capital finance, and the professionalization of the venture capital market.

农村民间金融组织的发展缓解了农村金融资金供需矛盾,弥补了官方金融的供给不足.但由于所掌握信息的有限性以及规模和范围上的劣势,使其在发展和运行过程中仍然存在一定的问题.因此,必须通过完善政策法规,加强监督管理和体制创新等措施进行规范.     

财务管理在高校基本建设投资中的作用

民营企业境外投资对我国经济发展具有重要意义。本文认为目前我国涉及民营企业境外投资的税收政策不够完善,政府有必要通过制定相关税收法规,加强国际税收协调,完善纳税服务体系等措施鼓励民营企业境外投资。     

The Diversification Discount Puzzle: Evidence for a Transaction-Cost Resolution

The literature on the corporate diversification discount and the relative efficiency of internal versus external capital markets provides mixed results. We argue that transaction-cost economics is useful in understanding this puzzle. According to transaction-cost economics, diversified firms should outperform single segment firms in industries with higher external transaction costs (e.g., emergent industries) and under-perform in industries with low external transaction costs and high agency and other internal costs (e.g., some mature industries). This paper provides evidence supporting these contentions.     

我国逃难资本外流的经济效应及其对策研究

近年来，我国误差与遗漏项目转为顺差，并不代表逃难资本外流现象的消失，而仅意味着热钱流入超过了逃难资本的外流的规模。逃难资本的外流包括“逃难资本”和“游资”两部分的内容，人民币的不断升值会减少游资的流出。但不会对逃难资本的外流产生明显的影响，多种迹象表明，逃难资本的外流仍在频繁发生。这种逃难资本的外流在微观和宏观两个层面都产生着极为不利的影响，本文正是从中国的现实出发，结合逃难资本的特点，对这两个层面的影响进行分析，并提出了符合中国实际的对策性建议。     

Childhood investments and skill formation

The skills needed to ensure good life chances are rising (and changing) and, despite decades of education reforms, there has been little progress in terms of equalizing opportunities. The impact of social origins on child outcomes persists, and may even strengthen. This suggests that the pursuit of more equality and future productivity come together. A major challenge is to minimize the dispersion of skills. The foundations of policy lie in the realization that learning abilities are formed during the first years of childhood. The pursuit of an optimal human capital policy needs to consider three issues: (1) the uneven capacity of parents to invest in children; (2) the impact of mothers’ employment on child outcomes; and, (3) the potential benefits of early pre-school programmes.
