With the arrival and development of supermarkets, Vietnam is currently experiencing significant changes to its food system and more particularly the distribution system. The objective of this paper is to analyse the risks and benefits of this development to poor urban consumers in Vietnam. The analysis is based on surveys of food purchasing practices conducted in Hanoi from 2004 to 2006. It shows that poor consumers depend on a diversified network of formal and informal outlets to ensure food accessibility, credit opportunities and low prices. Poor consumers purchase very little from supermarkets due to material constraints (price, transport, etc.), although they have a high opinion of supermarkets and in particular the quality of the products sold. In order to be favourable to poor consumers, food distribution policies should aim to maintain the balance of the different forms of outlets and enforce public quality standards to guarantee the right of all to safe food.  相似文献

伴随我国现代企业制度的确立与不断完备,绩效管理成为企业内部经营管理不容忽视的关键一步,科学高效的绩效评价体系能有效助力企业战略目标的实现。国内已有众多生鲜超市将阿米巴模式引入,该模式根据工作内容、经营性质的差异将超市分割成不同的阿米巴组织,各自实现独立核算。由于这一模式在国内刚刚起步,目前较少研究涉及阿米巴模式的引入对生鲜超市的绩效影响。针对阿米巴模式下的生鲜超市绩效评价体系加以探讨,通过文献梳理及实地调查,识别阿米巴模式下生鲜超市绩效评价关键因素并构建评价指标体系,在此基础上进一步提出基于阿米巴模式的生鲜超市绩效水平提高的建议对策,助力阿米巴模式在生鲜超市中的实践与发展。  相似文献

How does the frequency and magnitude of micro-price rises and falls relate to macroeconomic crisis, as well as moderation? Weekly micropricing behaviour in British groceries was investigated across three leading retailers over the moderation period 2004–7 and the crisis period 2008–10. We find significant price flexibility sharply distinguished from behaviour observed in most previous works. Downward price flexibility increased markedly in 2008. Overall basket prices rise, but significantly more individual prices fall than rise in the latter period. Tests of obfuscation in price setting suggested that large numbers of small price falls were used to disguise the basket price rises.  相似文献

The present study contributes to the literature on supermarket diffusion by incorporating shopping habit factors, beyond socioeconomic factors and store characteristic factors, into a framework for predicting consumers' choice to shop in traditional versus modern retail formats. Further, this study aims to estimate the relative importance of these variables compared to other factors. Our results show that socioeconomic factors have minimal impact on consumer choice. Shopping habit factors have as great or even larger impact as market-relevant and product-relevant attributes, especially for fresh-food and cooked-food shopping.  相似文献

本研究利用结构方程模型验证了超市诚信对顾客感知价值、顾客满意度、顾客忠诚度的影响机制。经过模型修正与复合效化两个过程,最终获得了一个与数据拟合度比较高的模型:(1)超市诚信→顾客感知价值→顾客忠诚;(2)超市诚信→顾客感知价值→顾客满意。即超市诚信通过影响顾客感知价值来分别影响顾客满意和顾客忠诚,顾客满意与顾客忠诚之间的相互影响不显著。  相似文献

This research seeks to discover how the organisational form (franchising vs. vertical integration) of 305 supermarkets belonging to a Spanish franchise chain influences unit-level performance measured through three key performance indicators commonly used in the retail literature: sales per square metre, sales per employee, and service quality scores. Additionally, we assess the moderating role of the manager's gender in each individual supermarket. We have analysed the research questions using multivariate analyses, with a panel dataset that includes quarterly establishment-level data covering the period from January 2017 to December 2019. We have found that franchised supermarkets record higher sales both per square metre and per employee than vertically integrated ones. This positive effect of franchising is lower in establishments run by females than in those run by males. The findings also reveal that franchised supermarkets record lower service quality scores than their company-owned counterparts, and this negative effect is again lower in establishments managed by females than in those managed by males.  相似文献
