新形势下增强大学生科技创新能力的途径

优良的学风是保证和提高教育质量的重要条件,是学生成长成才和高校可持续发展的必要保证。而科技创新是关系到一个国家经济和社会发展的重要基石。大学生科技创新活动是培养大学生创新意识,提高创新能力的有效载体。本文通过对当前大学生科技创新活动现状的分析,提出了提高科技创新活动的途径,探讨如何以科技创新为抓手,从根本上促进学风的建设。     

Super Bowl advertising: field testing the importance of advertisement frequency,length and placement on recall

This study investigates the effects of length, frequency and pod placement on advertising recall in a non-laboratory setting. Subjects were surveyed the day after Super Bowl XXVIII to determine recall of advertisements shown during the game. The results indicate that length and frequency positively and significantly influence advertisement recall.     

监狱警察应付方式与心理健康的关系

为了探索监狱警察应付方式与心理健康状况的关系,采用应付方式问卷和心理健康量表,对绵阳市某监狱150名警察进行问卷调查。结果表明:狱警的心理健康优于男狱警;监狱警察最常采用的应付方式是解决问题和求助。心理健康与解决问题、求助存在显著正相关,而与自责、幻想、退避和合理化之间存在显著负相关。     

《酒鬼的鱼鹰》与《零作坊》——浅谈迟子建的两部中篇小说

在曾经的创作中，迟子建对人性之善的追求甚至到了有些偏颇的程度，某些方面削弱了小说应有的现实意义。然而生活的磨砺给作家带来的不仅仅是生之经验，更是感之痛彻，这种现实的深刻认知悄然影响了她的创作，在《酒鬼的鱼鹰》与《零作坊》中，风格的转变已然呈现。然而，虽然作家的眼睛早已看穿了严寒、阴霾，也有狂风恶雨，但她并没有让猥琐、丑陋、罪恶、绝望占领她的文字世界。在寒凉甚至绝望时，她依然试图把恶俗的世界翻转过来，让我们看到最美丽的风景。     

加强高校学风建设的若干思考

学风建设对于引导学生树立正确的成才观、价值观和学会做人做事都有积极作用和深远影响。应该从树立正确的学风建设理念、加强大学生思想政治教育、严格管理制度、动员全员参与、建设宿舍文化、发挥学生党员作用、营造良好学习氛围等方面加强高校学风建设。     

Does conspicuous decoration style influence customer's intention to purchase? The moderating effect of CSR practices

Using an experimental research design, this study examines the main effect of conspicuous hotel decoration style on consumer purchase intention, and tests the moderating role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and the mediating role of image perception on the relationship between conspicuous decoration style and purchase intention with Chinese consumers. The results indicate that decoration style had a critical role in explaining Chinese customers’ purchase intention. Specifically, a low conspicuous decoration style led to stronger customer purchase intention than did a high conspicuous decoration style. The relationship between conspicuous decoration style and customer purchase intention was found to be fully mediated by image perception. The findings emphasize the significance of CSR in influencing Chinese customers’ purchase intention with hotels of a highly-conspicuous decoration style. Externally oriented CSR practices (i.e., corporate philanthropy, environmental protection) were found to be more significant in moderating the relationship between conspicuous decoration style and purchase intention than internally oriented CSR practice (i.e., employee treatment). Hotels engaging in philanthropy and environmental protection, can not only elicit a positive response from consumers, but also help mitigate the risks of a loss of organizational legitimacy as a result of high conspicuous decoration.

Pricing the Chicago Board of Trade T-Bond futures

The aim of this paper is to investigate the pricing of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) Treasury-Bond futures. The difficulty in pricing it arises from its multiple inter-dependent embedded delivery options, which can be exercised at various times and dates during the delivery month. We consider a general Markov diffusion process model for stochastic interest rates and propose a pricing algorithm that can handle all the delivery rules embedded in the CBOT T-Bond futures. Our procedure combines dynamic programming, finite-elements approximation, and fixed-point evaluation. Numerical illustrations are provided under the one-factor Vasicek and Cox–Ingesoll–Ross models, and under the time in-homogeneous Hull–White model.

Equity Fund Performance Persistence with Investment Style: Evidence from Korea

Using a comprehensive database on equity funds in Korea, we investigate the performance and performance persistence with investment style employing the Fama and French three-factor model and the Carhart four-factor model. The paper finds that most investment styles in Korea noticeably outperform the passive benchmarks. In addition, positive performance persistence is observed among funds investing in large-cap stocks and stocks of high past performance. Finally, outperformance and positive performance persistence of equity funds are still present in various ranking and postranking horizons. These empirical findings are in sharp contrast with results from earlier studies on markets in developed countries, such as the United States.
