传统的国际关系研究增进了人们对国际关系一般性和整体性的领悟能力,但在国际关系的复杂多样性方面却缺乏深入的分析。作为解决这个问题的一种努力,我们主张关注地区政治,到地区体系和地区内的互动关系之中去考察和研究国际关系中的重要问题。作者将地区政治界定为一个有着独特性的国际关系研究领域,在强调其反映国际关系深刻性的基础上,从体系结构、进程和秩序三个方面分析了它的基本特征,并讨论了进行地区政治研究需要思考的某些理论问题。地区政治研究将有助于我们较为确切地回答在什么样的条件下国际合作或者国际冲突最为可能的问题,因此需要赋予国际关系研究以更鲜明的地区空间色彩。  相似文献

The Canadian example suggests that recent shifts in communication policy frameworks should be understood as a transformation in how technology is organized politically, and not simply as a policy reaction to technological innovation. The process is tracked chronologically in three sections: institutional renewal (1993–1994); accelerated vertical slippage between national, regional and global policy levels (1995–1996); and horizontal dispersal of communication policy into new other sectors (1997). Across these stages, a series of convergences characterized by increased fluidity between territorial as well as sectoral jurisdictions are discussed; implications for the understanding of communication policy frameworks within the context of the “information society” project are identified.  相似文献

The Venezuelan manufacturing sector, unlike agriculture, cooperated with state’s efforts to liberalize trade in the 1990s, despite the economic costs it absorbed and the political opportunities to sabotage the reforms. This paper offers two explanations for this, which modify and conciliate traditional interest-based and corporatist theories of state-society relations. High levels of sectoral autonomy from the bureaucracy and political parties (and hence Congress), together with low levels of involvement in profit-making on the part of the associations representing the sector, encourage sectoral cooperation with costly and risky state policies. In addition, traditional corporatist instruments used by states—inducements and constraints—hurt rather than enhance state-sector cooperation.  相似文献

The two edited collections and the monograph reviewed here provide the means to consider an extended range of commodities, locations, commodity/value chains, and issues of theory and method in political economy, beyond those presented by Gibbon and Ponte (2005) that we considered in the first part of this essay. Our discussion here touches on issues concerning how 'global' global commodity/value chains are; the symbolic attributes of commodities and commodity fetishism; the politics of consumption (or simply politics of selling and buying); the strengths and weaknesses of the economic sociology of commodity/value chains; and how the 'slices' extracted from larger organisms in studies of particular commodities may be reinserted, as it were, as part of the understanding of contemporary capitalism and of issues of development in the economies of the 'South'.  相似文献

深化国有资产管理体制改革必须以“管资本”为主加强国有资产监管。对上海市国有企业中高级管理人员的调研表明,当前上海市国有资产监管主要存在以下问题:从监管主体看,国资委定位不明确,监管组织体系层级多且权责关系不清晰;从监管对象看,国有企业微观运行中市场化与行政化的矛盾依然存在;从监管环境看,政企不分、政资不分依然存在,配套改革匹配度不足。因此,以“管资本”为主的国有资产监管改革是一个系统工程,要从上到下进行顶层设计、从下到上完善基础环境。上海市应进一步推进政企分开、政资分开,明确国资委的定位和权责关系;优化底层制度安排,化解国有企业微观运行中市场化与行政化的矛盾;协同推进相关配套改革,完善以“管资本”为主加强国有资产监管的制度环境。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The article addresses the domestic impact of the freezing of the Greek association with the European Economic Community (EEC) on business–government relations during the colonels’ dictatorship in Greece (1967–1974). Focusing on the Federation of Greek Industries (SEV), the author argues that in the face of the Europeanisation of Greek industry, Greek business embarked upon a strategy prioritising liberalisation as a means towards rapprochement with the EEC. But this strategy was not part of a pro-democracy agenda. On the contrary, seeking a viable political regime and future accession to the EEC, SEV supported an abortive authoritarian transition to electoral politics in 1973.  相似文献

This study examined the mediating effects of organizational politics on the relationships between ethical work climate and two employee outcomes: affective commitment and proactive customer service performance. Using 200 survey responses collected from six shopping malls, we found that perceived ethical work climate had a direct effect on employee perceptions of organizational politics, affective commitment and proactive customer service performance. Moreover, perceived organizational politics partially mediated the relationship between ethical climate and affective commitment, but not that between ethical climate and proactive customer service behavior. We recommend retailers develop ethical climate to strengthen their competitive advantage.  相似文献

Corporations today have been engineered by CEOs and other business advocates to look increasingly green and responsible. However, alarming cases such as Enron, Parmalat and Worldcom bear witness that a belief in corporate goodness is still nothing other than naïve. Although many scholars seemingly recognize this, they still avoid touching on the most sensitive and problematic issues, the taboos. As a consequence, discussion of important though problematic topics is often stifled. The article identifies three ‘grand’ taboos of CSR discourse and explicitly raises them for discussion. They are the taboos of amoral business, continuous economic growth, and the political nature of CSR. It is suggested that CSR can only be as advanced as its taboos. The critical potential of the field remains underdeveloped as a consequence of the taboos, and in many cases the CSR discourse merely produces alluring but empty rhetoric about sustainability and responsible business.  相似文献
