过程体裁教学法在商务英语写作教学中的微观应用

本文以过程体裁教学法为基础，以其教学模式为工具，结合高职院校商务英语写作课程的特点，对商务英语写作课程进行了课堂微观应用，最终明确过程体裁教学法适用于商务英语写作课程教学。

美国总统就职演说的体裁分析

体裁分析可揭示不同体裁语篇独具的语言表现形式和建构特点,能通过图示结构探讨语篇的语义内涵.该文运用体裁分析理论,收集调查了30篇美国总统就职演说文本,提取了该体裁文本的图式结构,并总结了它在功能、释义、语言等层面上的一些特征.     

Does gender diversity on corporate boards increase risk‐taking?

We study the impact of board gender diversity on firm risk‐taking in a developing market. Our study is drawn from a sample of 30 Tunisian‐listed firms between 1997 and 2010. First, we found that women have a risk perception that leads to risk avoidance behaviour: the presence of women directors, even when there is one woman director, is positively associated with cash ratio. Second, we showed no significant relationship between board gender diversity and the propensity to take strategic or financial risk‐taking. Third, the presence of state officer/bureaucrats and/or politically connected women have a positive effect on cash holding and investment opportunities. Finally, we found that foreign investors do not invest in firms with gender‐diverse boards. We conclude with a discussion of contributions to scholarship and practice, and present avenues for future research. Copyright © 2015 ASAC. Published by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Executive Turnover,Gender, And Earnings Management: An Exploratory Analysis

This paper examines the relationship between the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) turnover and earnings management. Based on cross‐sectional panel regressions on a three‐year sample of the Standard & Poor's (S&P) 1500 firms, the following findings are reported: (1) CFO turnover is accompanied by income‐decreasing earnings management; (2) discretionary accruals tend to become more negative when a male CFO is replaced by a female; (3) earnings management increases income if the outgoing CFO is a female and the incoming is a male and in the case of male–male CFO changes. Overall, these results indicate that the firms who hire a female CFO after a male tend to shift toward more conservative financial reporting practices.     

经济学类论文英语摘要的对比研究

本文采取体裁分析的方法,对比研究了经济学类英语论文摘要的宏观结构。为此目的,本文建立了一个80篇英语摘要的语料库,摘要来自于中美两本权威经济学期刊《经济学季刊》(China Economic Quarterly)和Quarterly Journal of Economics。研究结果表明,两本期刊的英语摘要的宏观结构存在显著差异。本研究的意义在于在一定程度上揭示了英语学术语篇宏观结构的跨文化差异性,并为英语非母语的论文撰写者提供参考。     

基于体裁理论的语篇构建模式及其运用

体裁理论可帮助学习者在认知过程中形成图式结构,掌握篇章的规约和惯例,增强阅读理解能力,提高语篇构建能力。教师应帮助学生形成各种图式结构,通过语篇分析,理解相关的体裁类型,建立语篇,获得反馈后重构语篇,以此提高其语篇构建能力。     

苏雪林小说《棘心》的个性特征和时代共同性

皖籍女作家苏雪林的小说《棘心》,体现了作者传统思想和新观念的平衡、唯美思想和浪漫理想的结合,并以缜密的手法进行了心理分析.同时小说也具有该时代文学创作的共同性特征：自叙传的手法、结构松散的形式以及主人公青春苦闷的主题.     

An examination of gender influences in career mentoring

This study draws on the Theory of Planned Behaviour to examine the role of gender in the decision to be mentored. Contrary to expectations, men and women employ similar decision criteria in the decision to seek a mentor. The primary driver for seeking a mentor was to obtain psychosocial support, including personal support, acceptance, having a confidant, being trusted and friendship. Men were more likely than women to seek a mentor when they valued increased autonomy. The implications of the findings for protégés, mentors and career development professionals are noted.
