多孔介质反应器中甲烷预混气体燃烧火焰传播特性研究

分别以氧化铝小球(5mm和8mm)和氧化铝泡沫陶瓷(孔密度为10PPI和40PPI)为多孔介质,对甲烷与空气预混气体火焰传播特性进行实验,研究了多孔介质结构和入口预混气体流速对火焰的影响。研究表明,火焰可以稳定在多孔介质前半段,多孔介质反应器中温度分布均匀。大直径的氧化铝小球燃烧速率更快。燃烧波波速随入口空气流量的增大而增大。泡沫陶瓷反应器火焰很快传播到反应器上游,再慢慢预热升温;氧化铝小球反应器则燃烧温度达到到峰值后,再缓慢向反应器上游传播。

德、日政府对相关高铁事故的处理和善后,对中国实施危机处理有着深刻的誓示和借鉴意义。我国政府、企业正处在上升期、转型期,各种矛盾的复杂性和不可调和性使得所面对的危机更加错综复杂。因此,建立行之有效的危机沟通处理体系和相关应对机制,预防危机、合理迅速地处理危机,对于当代中国政府及企业显得尤为重要。及时、有效的救援和审查机制,能够保障人民的生命财产安全以及未来工作的安全与稳定,而机动、立体的危机沟通体系,则可以有效地树立政府或企业的公信度,正确引导公众的主流思想,使公众理性的面对危机,规避危机演变成灾难的潜在危险。尽最大可能减少危机发生后媒体舆论造成的公共利益的损失。     

Impacts of Animal Well‐Being and Welfare Media on Meat Demand

This article provides the first known examination of how animal welfare information provided by media sources impacts beef, pork and poultry demand. Results suggest that media attention to animal welfare has a small, but statistically significant impact on meat demand. Long‐run pork and poultry demand are hampered by increasing media attention whereas beef demand is not directly impacted. Loss in consumer demand is found to come from exiting the meat complex rather than spilling over and enhancing demand of competing meats. An outline of economic implications is provided for the broader discussion of animal welfare.     

Strategies for Adopting Consumer‐generated Media in Small‐sized to Medium‐sized Tourism Enterprises

Consumer‐generated media (CGM) are created when consumers submit, review or respond to online content. The bulk of research into CGM has focussed upon its use by consumers, with less research examining the use of CGM by small businesses. This article discusses small business sector use of online technologies such as CGM, concentrating on tourism small businesses as a key industry sector affected by CGM activities. A CGM ‘strategy’ framework, developed from an existing small business strategy framework, is proposed. This serves as a practical tool for developing CGM strategies and as a theoretical foundation for conducting research into the use of CGM. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Initiating coverage,broker reputation and management earnings forecasts in Australia

We examine more than 5000 recommendations made by Australian brokers in the period 1996–2001. We find evidence that initiating recommendations produce greater share price responses than continuing recommendations, particularly for hold, underperform and sell recommendations. We also find evidence that initiating recommendations made by higher‐reputation brokers and those made in the absence of a management earnings forecast attract different share price responses. Finally, we find that share price responses to initiating recommendations, conditional on the market consensus recommendation, are significantly different to continuing recommendations.
