Customer Relationship Management (CRM) can bring many benefits to the hotel business, though there are some associated challenges. Such challenges often bring a significant risk of failure, and these risks become more significant in budget hotels. This study considers the changes that have emerged in the last decade as regards customer expectations when staying in budget hotels. We use qualitative approaches to investigate the overlaps between customer expectations and managers’ perceptions of CRM applications. The findings reveal that regardless of all changes, value for money and core products continue to play a critical role in customers’ overall satisfaction with budget hotels. 相似文献

The purpose of this study is to identify any quality customer service gaps in the hospitality industry in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and to test the significant values of each of the necessary variables that make up the component of quality customer service in the hospitality sector. A survey has been done among a group of 197 visitors in hospitality firms. Results revealed that the hospitality industry in PNG had a major service gap in the area of “Personalized Service and Empathy”. This gap includes areas such as serving customers' best interests, never too busy to respond to questions, and understanding of specific needs. The study also identified that the major predictors for overall customer satisfaction were “Tangibles” and “Financial Competence and Reliability”, which had a significant negative effect on customers' satisfaction. 相似文献

On Efficient Estimation and Correct Inference in Models with Generated Regressors: a General Approach 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Two approaches have been developed for deriving the properties of efficiency and consistency of standard errors of two step estimators of linear models containing current or lagged unobserved expectations of a single variable. One method is based on the derivatives of the likelihood function and information matrix, while the other uses the true covariance matrix of the disturbance vector when unknown parameters or variables are replaced by corresponding estimates. In this paper, the second approach is extended to cases where the structural equation is nonlinear and the model contains expectations of more than one variable or expectations of future variables. The properties of a frequently used estimator to deal with missing observations problems, a model involving a variance as an explanatory variable, and a recently developed estimator for autoregressive moving average models can be easily derived using the results of the paper. Methods for improving the efficiency of two step estimators are outlined.

针对企业“漂绿”问题屡禁不止的现状,分析了业绩期望落差对企业“漂绿”行为的影响机理,并以2010—2019年A股重污染行业上市公司为样本进行实证检验。研究发现:业绩期望落差会诱发企业“漂绿”行为,且主要表现为对环境实践的选择性披露;而且,业绩期望落差持续的时间越长,其对企业“漂绿”行为的影响越显著。进一步的路径检验表明,业绩期望落差会恶化企业融资约束和加剧管理层短视,进而导致“漂绿”行为。此外,不同类型规制工具对“漂绿”的治理效应存在差异,其中,命令控制型环境规制及本地媒体监督能够抑制业绩期望落差驱动的企业“漂绿”行为,但市场激励型、公众参与型环境规制以及异地媒体监督的治理效应不明显。 相似文献

文章在回顾国内外研究国际油价与汇率关系的基础上,运用溢出效应模型、协整检验、VEC模型对人民币汇率形成机制改革之后国际油价与人民币升值预期的关系进行了实证分析。结果发现:国际油价与人民币升值预期之间具有长期均衡关系,但仅仅存在国际油价对人民币升值预期的单向传导作用,溢出效应方面也只有国际油价对人民币无本金交割远期交易汇率的单向收益溢出效应与波动溢出效应。从短期看,国际油价上涨会削弱人民币升值预期,而从长期看则会增强人民币升值预期。 相似文献

While the rotation of maximum forest rent (no discounting of revenues and costs) is sometimes discussed conceptually and calculated practically, forest economists have almost invariably focused on optimal rotation with a positive discount rate. Some circumstances, especially related to increasing marginal utility with decreasing availability per head of products, would justify use of a negative discount rate. For a logically complete suite of conditions, a means of identifying optimal rotation with such a rate is needed. Applying the usual formulation for land expectation value then produces a meaningless result. Two approaches seem to give a solution. One uses the first-order conditions for an optimum. Another uses inversion of time perspective to produce sensible-seeming results. However, for cases where the world, or the value of forest production, ends suddenly at an unpredictable time, the optimal rotation is, surprisingly, that of maximum forest rent. Where the cause of negative discount rates is of limited duration before stability or growing affluence is re-established, this “provisional optimum” can be modified responsively. 相似文献
