网络论坛在中国发展迅速,逐渐成为继传统线下旅行社、线上旅行社之后,旅游中介商的第三支重要力量。在综合分析现有市场调查和研究的基础上,首先指出旅游网络论坛是虚拟消费社区的一种类型,发展出自助旅游文化,其次作为旅游电子中介商,它的目标市场是学历高和互联网使用率高的年轻人,核心产品以背包客、非标准化团队旅行、观光和特种旅游产品为主。梳理了旅游网络论坛的国内发展状况,最后论述其对于旅行社行业和目的地可能产生的重大影响。     

谈旅游投诉及旅行社服务对策

旅游投诉随着旅游业的发展而逐渐增加,旅游投诉现象,可分为旅行社管理原因引起的投诉和非旅行社方面引起的投诉等。对引起旅游投诉的原因和游客的投诉心理进行深层次的分析,提出加强旅游服务意识,加强旅游服务管理,提高旅游服务质量,建立旅游投诉的处理机制等旅行社服务对策。     

电子客票透明化对航空客运需求影响及对策研究

电子客票的产生增加了市场信息透明度。首先介绍电子客票的发展历程及其透明化特点,然后分析了价格透明和产品透明对航空客运需求的影响效果,发现价格透明对航空客运需求有抑制作用,而产品透明则有促进作用。最后给出运用收益管理技术的应用设想,以化解价格透明的负面影响。     

Does data matter? Statewide longitudinal data systems and student performance in the U.S.

Although many industries have benefited from advances in data-driven technology, education is making small steps in capitalizing on the huge potential of data systems. Since 2005, the U.S. Federal Government has been making large grants to help states build statewide longitudinal data systems (SLDS) with the goal of improving programme and teacher evaluation and engage in data-driven decision-making. We analyse whether the introduction of SLDSs improved student performance, measured using test scores for math and reading tests for 4th and 8th graders, as well as high school graduation rates. We find no effects of SLDSs on student performance up to 10 years from implementation. However, we find suggestive evidence that these systems may have long-run effects, emphasizing the long-run nature of educational data collection and policy analysis.     

International flows of people and institutional change

International travel clearly increases human interaction over space and exposes societies to foreign influences, foreign ideas, and foreign institutions. Does international travel promote institutional change in a traveler's home country? This paper uses panel data from 149 countries to test the hypothesis of institutional change stemming from international travel. We generally find that foreign travel does not affect political institutions. In one sub-sample, we find limited evidence that international travel can be a determinant of institutional quality in the home country depending upon whether the home country is an autocracy or democracy.

Public acceptance of and heterogeneity in behavioral beach trip responses to offshore wind farm development in Catalonia (Spain)

A combined travel cost – contingent behaviour survey of residents and tourists in Catalonia is conducted on-site to examine the effects on beach recreational demand of developing an offshore wind farm (OWF) project. The survey considers four potential OWF scenarios with different degrees of visual impact. We allow for heterogeneity in trip preferences among individuals and control for on-site sampling through the use of a random parameters negative binomial (RPNB) model and a Multivariate Poisson log-normal (MPLN) model, respectively. The welfare measures derived from the RPNB model relate to the current beach users only, whereas those from the MPLN model refer to the general population of residents and tourists in Catalonia. The results show the importance of the specific place of location of the OWF project and how the installation of wind turbines would significantly decrease the demand for trips, depending on their degree of visual impacts, leading to a substantial welfare loss. However, the results also show that the project mainly would cause a displacement of trips to other beaches within Catalonia rather than outside Catalonia and that the welfare per trip measures generated by the RPNB and MPLN models substantially differ. Policy implications of these findings are discussed.

本文将休闲农业旅游和老年旅游行为相结合，采用问卷调查与座谈访问法，对长沙城郊休闲农业旅游中老年消费行为进行研究，提出农村生活怀旧游、疗养健体游、家庭和谐游、农耕特色文化游、乡村特产购物游等对策措施，以进一步扩大休闲农业旅游老年旅游市场。
