AbstractDrawing upon social cognitive theory, this study presents psychosocial functioning in which personal factors and social influences jointly influence career commitment as a mediator and then turnover intention as an outcome among high-tech personnel. Based on a two-wave survey of working professionals in high-tech industry, this study’s empirical results find that passion, social support, and perceived self-centered leadership indirectly relate to turnover intention through the full mediation of career commitment. At the same time, the effects of job self-efficacy and social support on career commitment are moderated respectively by passion. This research responds to the attendant need for empirical evidence pertaining to how marketing affects firm performance.
Using the Fama-French method, common in finance, and a leading marketplace measure of a brand’s financial equity value, the
authors provide empirical evidence for the branding-shareholder value creation link. The results extend previous research
by showing that strong brands not only deliver greater returns to stockholders than does a relevant benchmark but do so with
less risk This finding holds even when market share and firm size are considered.

asset pricing, market microstructure, risk management, and derivatives. His work has appeared in theJournal of Financial Economics, theJournal of Futures Markets, theJournal of Economics and Business, theReview of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, among other journals and conference proceedings.
Susan Fournier is an associate professor of marketing at Boston University. Her research focuses on branding and brand relationship marketing.
Current projects explore person-brands, resonance as a moderator of the brand meaning → brand strength connection, the types
of relationships consumers form with brands, and dynamic processes of relationship development and evolution. She served for
9 years on the Harvard Business School faculty and 2 years as a visitor at Dartmouth College. She consults with a range of

A service recovery performance model is proposed and tested with data from frontline bank employees in Turkey. The model is
derived from Bagozzi's (1992) reformulation of attitude theory. The empirical results suggest that top management commitment
to service quality, as manifested by frontline employees' appraisal of training, empowerment, and rewards, has a significant
effect on their perceptions of service recovery performance. The influence of management commitment to service quality on
service recovery performance is mediated by frontline employees' affective commitment to their organization and job satisfaction.
Implications of the results and further research avenues are discussed.

陕西具有发展特色农业的良好条件,但由于受自然经济传统约束,广大农民缺乏市场经营意识和经营经验,加之缺乏有效的农业合作组织,缺少辐射带动能力强的龙头企业,导致特色农产品的品牌化经营程度低,现有特色农产品的品牌知名度和美誉度不高,市场影响力有限。要创建陕西特色农产品品牌,必须提高特色农产品的生产者、经营者和地方政府的市场意识、品牌意识,组织专业协会,发展龙头企业,完善特色农产品技术服务支持体系,推行标准化生产,加强产后商品化处理,建立和完善农产品品牌质量认证体系,加强对农产品品牌的宣传推广力度。 相似文献
