恶劣环境对船舶焊接的影响

在船舶建造过程中焊接工作量约占全部的30%~40%，焊接是保证质量的重中之重。焊接质量出问题，就可能造成严重的后果。我厂沿江堤而建，空气中湿度大，工作条件差。密集性气孔很严重。所以，在这种情况下，对我厂焊接质量控制提出更高的要求。     

Tourist Guides and Job Related Problems,Analysis and Evidence from Jordan

This study investigates the challenges that professional Jordanian tourist guides may encounter. The implication of this research stems from the fact that very little research, at least in Jordan, has addressed the problems that tourist guides encounter. Qualitative methods, using participants’ observations and in-depth interviewing methods, were used to generate insights from the collected data. The results reveal multiple critical challenges that impact the professional stability of tourist guides. Further efforts are required to fully understand the needs of tourist guides.     

Marrying personality and job resources and their effect on engagement via critical psychological states

This study examined the process by which individuals become engaged with their jobs by integrating seminal engagement theory. More specifically, we suggest that an individual factor (i.e. autotelic personality) and two contextual factors (i.e. feedback environment, job autonomy) interact to predict work engagement through three critical psychological states – namely availability, meaningfulness, and safety. This moderated mediation framework was tested using a cross section of the US population (n = 284); data were collected at two points in time with 3 months in between. Availability and meaningfulness mediated the relationship between autotelic personality and work engagement. Autotelic personality’s indirect effect on work engagement through meaningfulness and safety was conditional such that the nature of feedback environment’s effect depended on job autonomy level. Theory and practice implications are discussed.     

紧邻老旧民房的深孔松动控制爆破技术

为了保护融水至河池高速公路二分部项目K53桩号附近的老旧民房和村民祠堂,控制露天深孔台阶爆破开挖所产生的振动和飞石、滚石等有害效应对村庄的影响,通过采用露天深孔松动控制爆破的方法,利用数码电子雷管结合毫秒级延期起爆网络进行爆破参数的设计。严格控制单段最大起爆药量,预留靠近民房山体一侧做掩体,确定好延时时间间隔和抵抗线方向以及做好炮孔堵塞和炮孔覆盖等安全技术措施,从而减少爆破振动和飞石、滚石等有害效应。结果发现:爆破效果良好,无飞石和滚石发生,大块率较低,机械易于开挖。祠堂和民房地基采集到的振速数据远低于安全振动峰值。

热焖法钢渣处理及综合利用工程实践

转炉钢渣是在转炉炼钢过程中产生的废渣,是炼钢的必然副产物,据钢铁工业协会统计数据显示,2012年钢渣产生量为6228万吨,如果处置利用不当,不仅污染周边环境,而且钢渣的含铁成分也白白浪费。钢渣的处理与利用巳成为钢铁企业发展循环经济、保护生态环境的一项紧迫任务。

Waves and Determinants in Mergers and Acquisitions: The Case of Latin America

This article contributes to the current literature on mergers and acquisitions (M&As) by identifying the existence of waves and the determinants of M&A activity in the economies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. From a sample of 2,391 M&A announcements reported by Thomson One on these countries, applying the methodology proposed by Harford (2005), evidence of M&A waves is found for the periods 1995–2002 and 2003–2010, as reported for other regions in various international studies. After controlling for economic and business environment variables, as well as for profitability and book-to-market variables at the industry level, we find evidence that supports neoclassical theory as a main explanation for M&A activity but not for the misvaluation effect.     

Comment: Marrying Functional Differentiation and Institutional Economics: Reflections on Steffen Roth’s Article

The Luhmannian idea of functional differentiation offers a novel and radical systems-theoretic framework reinforcing the institutionalist vision of the embeddedness of the economic system in the societal and natural environment. Reflecting on Steffen Roth’s article, I formulate two complementary arguments. The first is that any self-organized complexity can be supported by the installation of a systemic boundary protecting it from the outer environment. The second is that this boundary prevents the complexity of the outer environment from being fully translatable into the intra-systemic complexity. Both arguments potentially inform the institutionalist analysis of the operational and moral problems of the economic function system.
