陨落的铱星带给我国高新技术投资的思考

美国铱星公司耗巨资、花近十年时间建立的卫星通信系统在正式商业运营不到十个月就不得不宣布破产倒闭。铱星公司的失败形象地说明了当代高新技术投资的风险性、复杂性、多变性等特点。铱星的失败有偶然性,也有其必然性。本文通过对铱星公司破产倒的原因分析,得一些有 益于我国高新技术投资的启示。     

Promoting exports: the role of inward FDI in China

Since the late 1970s, exports and inward foreign direct investment (FDI) in China have risen dramatically under the open-door policy. The critical role of FDI in China's exports may be indicated by the fact that exports by foreign affiliates in China in 1998 were US$81 billion, comprising 44% of China's total exports in that year. While there is considerable evidence on the FDI export linkage in China, systematically empirical analyses have been limited. This paper investigates the issue using panel data at the provincial level in the period of 1986–1997. The findings support the widely held belief that increased levels of FDI positively affect provincial manufacturing export performance.     

我国上市公司治理与会计政策选择

会计政策选择受到公司治理的强烈影响,其存在有一定的客观必然性。文章论述了两种主要公司模式下会计政策选择的取向,分析了我国上市公司治理的现状及由此而产生的会计政策选择方面的问题。为提高会计政策选择的效率性,我国上市公司应完善公司治理结构,文章对此提出了建议。     

Vertical intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment in East Asia

As economic integration in East Asia progresses, trade patterns within the region are displaying an ever-greater complexity: Though inter-industry trade still accounts for the majority, its share in overall trade is declining. Instead, intra-industry trade (IIT), which can be further divided into horizontal IIT (HIIT) and vertical IIT (VIIT), is growing in importance.In this paper, we set out to measure and examine vertical intra-industry trade patterns in the East Asian region and compare these with the results of previous studies focusing on the EU, to which such analyses so far have been confined. Based on the supposition that VIIT is closely related to offshore production by multinational enterprises, we then develop a model to capture the main determinants of VIIT that explicitly includes the role of FDI. The model is tested empirically using data from the electrical machinery industry. The findings support our hypothesis, showing that FDI plays a significant role in the rapid increase in VIIT in East Asia seen in recent years. J. Japanese Int. Economies 17 (4) (2003) 468–506.

本文研究了各国社会保障基金投资的外部规定和投资组合,并总结出我国可以借鉴的经验;接着本文对我国的相关情况进行分析,结合国外经验,指出我国社会保障基金投资组合的缺陷,提出改进建议。

International Rent Sharing and Domestic Labour Markets: A Macroeconomic Analysis

Compared to international trade relations relatively little is known about the role foreign direct investment linkages play in the transmission of disturbances from one country to the next. Inspired by the microevidence on profit sharing within multinational corporations and within industries, we investigate for six countries whether a cross-border rent-sharing phenomenon can be identified at the macroeconomic level. The rent-sharing hypothesis implies that an increase in foreign profitability should boost wages and/or employment in the domestic economy. We find corroborative evidence for Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. US labour market conditions, by contrast, are not affected by changes in profitability in other countries. JEL no. E32, F23, F40, J23, J31     

现金股利分配政策是评价投资的基本标准

文章论及股东投资的目的;企业与股东的关系;以及股东与企业的行为规范.论证了现金股利是股东能从企业那里获得的最切实的利益.因此,现金分红应成为对企业的基本要求--不低于银行同期存款利率;同时指出在股权分置的证券市场中,企业分红愈多,对中小股东的侵害便愈大.仅此一点,解决股权分置也就成为必然.股权分置改革将营造更加公平公正的投资环境.     

商业银行的前沿效率研究

文章根据随机成本前沿理论,运用面板数据模型（panel date）和多元回归分析方法,测算了我国商业银行的前沿效率值（2000-2004年）,并对其决定因素进行了分析。结果表明,银行效率的提高来源于多元化的产权结构、充足的银行资本金、资产质量、人力资本、市场竞争程度等。     

婚姻市场的教育分层与女性人力资本投资

在经济转轨时期,中国女性的劳动力供给表现出"非理性"现象:在劳动力市场的性别歧视越来越严重的情况下,女性人力资本投资却不降反升.婚姻市场的教育匹配和分层趋势,说明女性人力资本投资不但在劳动力市场上有收益,在婚姻市场上也有收益.劳动力市场上的性别歧视导致女性人力资本投资在劳动力市场的收益率下降,但只要这一投资行为在婚姻市场的收益率上升足以弥补这种损失,女性增加其人力资本投资就是一种理性的选择.
