ABSTRACT

Chinese domestic brands have developed rapidly in recent years, and yet few of them have entered global competition as product or service brands brands with exceptions such as Huawei. In addition, the evolution of Chinese brands has hardly been understood or introduced properly by international business educators. In this article, we identify the development patterns of Chinese domestic brands by using a local hotel brand as an example. Particularly, we examine and discuss how a Chinese brand can be established with specific positioning, brand image, and product offering, as well as how the brand can grow by vertical and horizontal extensions based on balancing market opportunities and the brand’s own capabilities. Moreover, we expect this research to facilitate the understanding of Chinese brands among international business education.  相似文献

The growth of the luxury market has been phenomenal in recent years, especially in the emerging markets such as India. This research studied luxury value aspects (personal and social) of luxury cosmetic brands and their impact on consumer attitudes and usage behavior, with a focus on women consumers. Data was collected in the form of a survey from 372 women luxury cosmetic users. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the framework. Hedonism and status value were found to have high significant relationship towards attitude whereas usage behavior was influenced by materialism and status value. Hence the symbolic and psychological traits among consumer will show their willingness to buy and preferences on luxury cosmetic brands. The findings of this study provide valuable insights to marketers and managers to understand consumer trends, attitudes and behavior in the luxury cosmetic market and develop marketing strategies to successfully market their products.  相似文献

The academic research on branding of consumer products and services is increasingly considering the degree of connectedness between consumers and brands as a key issue of investigation. The literature in this area investigates the nature and the strength of the relationship that consumers develop with brands, as well as the trend of joining brand tribes or brand communities in order to demonstrate and share with others their feelings towards and preference to brands. However, the impact of the overall perceptions of the brands in the form of its reputation and brand tribalism on brand relationships is so far unexplored in the existing literature. Using data collected from 912 respondents, this paper explores the importance of the long term brand reputation and brand tribalism on the strength of brand relationships. The findings suggest that brand tribalism is a better predictor of the strength of brand relationships than the long term brand reputation itself.  相似文献

Abstract

The concept of CRM has evolved into an inherent component of the sales processes of most medium-sized and large companies. However, despite the high costs involved, the quality of its implementation has hitherto been neglected. To provide the conceptual qualitative CRM control that is lacking, we have developed a measuring instrument that allows the evaluation of the activities in the three core CRM domains, namely interaction, insight and offer. We pilot-tested the tool in an automotive industry setting and the results reflect the CRM status quo achieved by twelve national and foreign brands.  相似文献

产业集群的迅速发展对我国经济起了积极的促进作用,但产业集群的根本发展又依赖于区域品牌的建设。区域品牌往往代表着一个地方产业产品的主体和形象,对本地经济的发展起着举足轻重的作用。但是当前在区域品牌的建设中存在种种的问题与缺陷,使得我国区域品牌建设路程缓慢,加强区域品牌建设,发展区域品牌,用区域品牌来带动区域产业经济的发展,可以使我国产业走上快速发展的道路。因此本文围绕产业集群的发展现状,及产业集群与区域品牌的内在联系,分析区域品牌的内涵及特点的基础上提出创建区域品牌的重要性,并对区域品牌的建设展开初步的探讨。  相似文献
