随着社会经济的不断发展,广告作为宣传产品的重要手段,已经成为各大厂商竞争的新阵地。随着广告的增加,明星代言广告现象变得更为普遍,明星代言广告逐渐成为人们关注的热点问题。近几年,经常出现明星代言虚假广告的现象,给人民群众的生命、财产造成了严重的损害,使得我国的市场经济秩序遭到了严重的破坏。面对日益泛滥的虚假广告,我国相关法律对虚假广告的打击力度却非常有限。除了《食品安全法》中明确代言人对于代言的食品产品应当承担连带责任外,其他法律中还没有对代言人的虚假代言行为的责任承担进行规定。近几年,明星代言虚假广告的法律责任承担问题一直是社会各界所重点探讨的问题之一。特别是随着三鹿奶粉事件发生后,有关虚假代言行为的讨论更是被推上了新的高潮。 相似文献

Brand value has become an important corporate performance metric, as can be observed from the close following of the annual
Top 100 Brand Values ranked by brand consultancy firm Interbrand and reported in Business Week. In this study, we employ a simultaneous equations model to examine the non-linear influence of lagged advertising, marketing
promotions and R&D expenses on brand value after controlling for net income and lagged brand valuation. We infer that these
lagged expenses yield diminishing returns to brand value. The effect of R&D expense is the weakest, possibly because it is
confounded with the advertising and promotional effects. Differences across industry segments or country base are not statistically

Firms can approach advertising competition either by setting advertising budgets (as in the percentage of sales method) or
target sales levels (as in the objective and task approach). We study firms’ incentives to adopt one or the other posture
using a two-stage model of duopolistic competition. In the first stage, each firm chooses to commit either to an advertising
budget, letting its sales follow from the market response function, or to a desired sales level, promising to adjust its advertising
spending accordingly. In the second stage, firms choose the actual levels of their advertising budget or sales target. When
prices are exogenous, we show that, due to strategic effects, if a firm benefits from its rival’s advertising (as when advertising
increases awareness of the product category) then setting an advertising budget dominates setting a sales target. On the other
hand, if a firm is harmed by its rival’s advertising (as when advertising increases the firm’s share of a fixed market), then
committing to a sales level dominates. We extend these results in several directions and show that when firms engage in price
competition as well as advertising the nature of advertising and product-market competition interact to determine whether
setting an advertising budget or sales target dominates.

Communication and promotion decisions are a fundamental part of retailer customer experience management strategy. In this review paper, we address two key questions from a retailer's perspective: (1) what have we learned from prior research about promotion, advertising, and other forms of communication and (2) what major issues should future research in this area address. In addressing these questions, we propose and follow a framework that captures the interrelationships among manufacturer and retailer communication and promotion decisions and retailer performance. We examine these questions under four major topics: determination and allocation of promotion budget, trade promotions, consumer promotions and communication and promotion through the new media. Our review offers several useful insights and identifies many fruitful topics and questions for future research. 相似文献

Abstract This study integrates the theories of social identity and unconscious processing to investigate the potential influence of unattended ads. Recent advances in research on unconscious processing have found that unconscious processing can include a semantic analysis of ads that includes the development of deeper meanings and associations related to cues in the ad. This study capitalizes on such an analysis by investigating whether using social identity as an advertising cue has the potential to influence consumer responses to ads—even ads to which consumers claim they have never been exposed. 相似文献

Abstract Advertising professionals rely on the assumption that using a celebrity to endorse a brand will result in an increase in consumer recall of the brand. Advertisers believe that using a celebrity endorser will foster, in the mind of the consumer, a match or connection between the celebrity endorser and the endorsed brand. The results presented in this study, however, found that a celebrity recognized in a magazine advertisement did not increase consumer recall of the brand endorsed by the celebrity for both professional athlete celebrities and other entertainment celebrities who are not professional athletes. Furthermore, subjects in this study did not correctly identify the brand when previously exposed to the full magazine advertisement, even when the celebrity's face cued the subject for recall. Abstract This article explores young adults' views of seven mass advertising media, and provides an in-depth inquiry into the qualitative media effect these audiences ascribe to each medium. This paper discusses many issues related to young audiences, and provides a useful supplement to the quantitative survey data most commonly found in media research. Respondents showed a distinct preference for media that provided visual stimulation, and a strong preference for media that afforded them control over the experience. Consistent with the concept of selective exposure, respondents preferred media that represented their own interests and opinions. However, media use was often inconsistent with media perceptions. Many respondents willingly suspended criticism when using media, as they consulted mass media for entertainment, rather than information. 相似文献
