South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India have become much larger force in the world economy. Due to the enormous contribution of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in economic growth, this study investigates four main issues related to technological innovation and knowledge network in ICT among six countries. First, indicators of technological innovation were evaluated and used to compare capability of technological innovation in ICT between the six countries. Secondly, differences in innovation configurations among six countries were manifested. Thirdly, relative innovation strengths of these six countries were examined in five sub-technological fields. Finally, this study consists of analyzing the interactions into knowledge network among them; moreover, this study manifests the difference of knowledge network in five sub-technological field of ICT. The empirical findings of this study, based on analysis of a patent and citation dataset comprised of all patents granted by the U.S. Patents and Trademark Office (USPTO) to assignees in six countries from 1976 to 2006, are helpful to understand the comparative development of technological innovation of ICT in six countries.  相似文献

The evolution of civilization appears to have primarily resulted from continuous improvement made possible by technological advances. A group of social evolutionists and economists have identified, among others, energy, transport, as well as information and communication to be the three most influential technologies. On the other hand, a number of eminent scholars have cited several forces, natural, physiological, technological, as well as environmental which can place a limit on on-going improvement.The purpose of this paper is to empirically explore the continuous improvement process as well as the limit placed on these three technologies. Using the framework of both connected and disconnected multiple technology S-curves and X-factor, historical improvement data on these three elements have been analyzed. The results of our analysis indicate that improvement in general has continued without limit mainly due to a series of emerging new technologies. These emerging technologies can be either connected or disconnected from the existing mature technologies. Our preliminary analysis shows that much of the past improvement comes from new technologies that on first serious application appear to be substantially superior from earlier technologies. In addition, enormous continuous improvement, which has accompanied both connected and disconnected new technologies appear to have played the critical role in sustaining the evolution of civilization. The paper discusses a number of policy implications and suggests topics for future research.  相似文献

本文基于企业传播的视角,通过对<福布斯>2009年全球上市公司2000强中内地上市公司网站、年报和社会责任报告中有关公司社会责任的内容披露的统计分析,围绕上市公司履行社会责任的动机、内容以及利益相关者在其中的应用等问题展开实证分析.研究表明,不同公司履行社会责任的程度各不相同,呈近似正态分布,且与所属行业国际化程度正相关;上市公司中绝大多数公司社会责任受到价值驱动,只有少数公司受到财务绩效或者利益相关者驱动;目前上市公司社会责任实践的三种主要形式依次是从事公益捐赠、遵守道德准则,以及支持各种慈善事业,而志愿服务和质量管理则相对欠缺.  相似文献

近年来,随着中国经济的快速发展及其国际地位的不断提高,我国地方政府已经有了越来越强的城市形象意识,各种形式的对外传播活动也相继展开。但是,对中国城市而言,城市形象传播毕竟是一个全新的实践领域,许多规律性的东西我们还没有把握好,一些观念与思路也没有调整到位,这在很大程度上影响着我国城市形象塑造与传播的效果。为此,我们借助地理传播学以长株潭城市群作为样本,利用网络数据库建立组合矩阵模型进行量化分析认为,长株潭秉持两型社会理念传播城市形象的成功做法和经验颇值得借鉴。  相似文献

M. Rabin (1994, J. Econ. Theory63, 370-391) proposes a model of behavior in two-person complete-information games with preplay communication, using non-equilibrium notions in the spirit of rationalizability to derive lower bounds on players' expected payoffs when players have unlimited communication opportunities. This paper adapts Rabin's model so that it can be used to analyze the results of the experiments of R. Cooper et al. (1989, Rand J. Econ.20, 568-587) on structured preplay communication in the Battle of the Sexes and the results of the unstructured bargaining experiments of Roth, Malouf, and Murnighan. Adding empirically motivated restrictions that allow the model to predict the payoff effects of changes in bounded communication possibilities like those in the experiments, it is shown that the data from both experiments are generally consistent with Rabin's model, and with the predictions of the extended model. 中国移动通信业的价格竞争,经过了无价格竞争阶段、显性价格竞争阶段、隐性价格竞争阶段、后价格竞争阶段的演化,体现了制度调节与市场选择并行的内在规律性,也增进了市场协调、提高了市场效率。中国移动通信业价格竞争具有非合作博弈的特性,行业管制与市场选择共同推动了竞争的有序化。因此,要实现中国移动通信市场的有效竞争,市场机制的作用是有限的,还离不开适当的政府行政参与下的不对称管制政策,而且不对称管制政策也需要根据市场变化进行调整和改进。  相似文献
