To date, little research has focused on the consumer's perspective of cloud computing acceptance. Thus, this article explores the drivers of voluntary consumer acceptance of cloud computing in a sample of Moroccan students. Results indicate that in addition to ease of use and perceived usefulness, structural trust is important for voluntary cloud computing acceptance. However, unlike prior studies, results indicate that perceived ease of use has a stronger effect on intention to use cloud computing, than perceived usefulness. The results of this study contribute to theory and provide strategies for cloud computing service providers to attract and retain individual consumers.  相似文献

Estimating dynamic panel data discrete choice models with fixed effects   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper considers the estimation of dynamic binary choice panel data models with fixed effects. It is shown that the modified maximum likelihood estimator (MMLE) used in this paper reduces the order of the bias in the maximum likelihood estimator from O(T-1) to O(T-2), without increasing the asymptotic variance. No orthogonal reparametrization is needed. Monte Carlo simulations are used to evaluate its performance in finite samples where T is not large. In probit and logit models containing lags of the endogenous variable and exogenous variables, the estimator is found to have a small bias in a panel with eight periods. A distinctive advantage of the MMLE is its general applicability. Estimation and relevance of different policy parameters of interest in this kind of models are also addressed.  相似文献

近年来,随着我国人均收入水平的不断提高、网民规模的逐渐壮大以及信息和物流技术的成熟,跨境电商进口在我国进口总额中所占比例逐渐增大。文章以问卷调查数据为依据,采用TAM模型和回归分析法,分析跨境电商进口视角下我国消费者购买意愿的影响因素以及各因素对消费者购买意愿的影响程度。结果发现商品性价比是影响我国消费者购买意愿的最主要因素,其次是感知信任和购物环节体验,而感知风险与购买意愿有着明显的负相关关系。由此,提出了严控进驻商家资质和产品品质、改善购物环节体验、完善消费者保护机制、净化网购环境等有利于提高消费者购买意愿的建议。  相似文献

本文依据非寿险业特点对传统的杜邦财务分析体系进行了改进,并利用其分析了中关非寿险业的发展策略,发现两者的各相关指标存在显著的不同,并探讨了不同财务指标的成因以及各相关因素。得出两者发展策略互有侧重。最后,从中国新兴非寿险市场现实环境出发,提出目前整个非寿险业必须坚持承保利润与投资收益并重的发展策略,努力提高运营效率。  相似文献

Arguably genetic modification is one of the most important technological change seen to date. Its effects on both human health and the environment are both profound and controversial. In particular consumers, mainly in the EU, have concerns regarding the long term effects of consuming genetically modified foods on their health. They are also concerned regarding the effect that genetically modified organisms will have on bio‐diversity and choice in the long run. Differing regulatory regimes towards genetically modified goods in the US and EU could lead to damaging trade conflicts. Current agreements covering trade in foods such as the SPS and TBT allow a way of diffusing conflicts. The primary aim of these agreements is, however, to prevent governments from protecting domestic producers by applying capricious barriers to foreign competition. This paper sets out to show that rather than modifying these two agreements it would be better to deal with new issues surrounding consumer preferences explicitly by negotiating a new international agreement.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The main purpose of this study is to apply the technology acceptance model in examining two human factors (i.e., engagement with e-learning, self-efficacy) influencing university hospitality and tourism students' intention to use e-learning in two different higher education contexts: Egypt, as an example of a developing country, and the United Kingdom (UK), as an example of a developed country. A total of 600 online questionnaires were sent to a convenience sample of university hospitality and tourism students. Among the questionnaires returned, 442 were usable ones, representing a response rate of 73.7%. The results from structural equation modeling show that student engagement with e-learning and e-learning self-efficacy had significant effects on both the Egyptian and UK students' intention to use e-learning platforms through the mediating variables of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Additionally, gender and background were significant factors affecting students' intention.  相似文献
