信息技术正在改变着非营利组织。计算机和互联网使组织以比以前更快、更有效的方式处理管理、员工和社会各界以及志愿者等方面的问题。互联网引进了强有力的新型沟通、营销和商务手段。信息技术必将使非营利组织的持续经营能力得到提高。

旅游业是一种外向性特征鲜明、关联带动性强、可持续发展性强的产业。它对地方政府的招商引资工作有着独特而重要的促进作用:旅游项目本身是良好的引资项目;商务旅游的开发直接促进招商引资工作;旅游业的发展有助于塑造和改善地方形象,改善地方投资环境。要充分发挥这些积极作用,就应在商务旅游产品开发、旅游与招商工作相结合、城市建设与旅游开发一体化、旅游与相关产业相结合等方面多下功夫。     

基于SDH的MSTP中的数据交换芯片设计

针对在SDH上构建多业务传输平台(MSTP)的需求,介绍了一种能在SDH传输和接入设备中提供灵活的数据业务支持的PoS(PacketoverSDH)数据交换芯片的设计方法。该芯片基于共享存储器的交换结构,采用了先进的流水线设计方式以提高整体交换容量。芯片支持服务质量保证(QoS)和组播(Multicast)功能,可用于SDH传输和接入设备中,为SDH上的数据业务支持提供简单而高效的解决方案。     

Eating at School: How the National School Lunch Program Affects Children's Diets

This article examines the impact of participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) on children's dietary intake at lunchtime and over 24 hours. Using a fixed effects model to control for selection bias, we find that NSLP participation leads to increased 24-hour intake of six vitamins and minerals—calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin B12, and riboflavin—as well as dietary fiber. Participation also leads to a trade-off between children's intake of dietary fat and added sugars whereby participants have higher intakes of dietary fat than nonparticipants but lower intakes of added sugars.     

Voluntary Disclosure of Nonproprietary Information: A Complete Equilibrium Characterization

The so-called disclosure principle is a 'puzzle' in the accounting literature: Game theoretic models of financial markets show that in equilibrium firms should disclose all their private information. Yet, the result is not convincing. Researchers have therefore built sophisticated models in order to demonstrate for which reasons the disclosure principle might fail. This note shows that even in the original model there are multiple equilibria. In those equilibria good types disclose and bad types do not. The commonly known full disclosure equilibrium is a limit point of the equilibrium set.     

On randomization, modeling and experimental design; a new example in an old discussion

Fisher and "Student" quarreled in the early days of statistics about the design of experiments, meant to measure the difference in yield between to breeds of corn. This discussion comes down to randomization versus model building. More than half a century has passed since, but the different views remain. In this paper the discussion is put in terms of artificial randomization and natural randomization, the latter being what remains after appropriate modeling. Also the Bayesian position is discussed. An example in terms of the old corn-breeding discussion is given, showing that a simple robust model may lead to inference and experimental design that outperforms the inference from randomized experiments by far. Finally similar possibilities are suggested in statistical auditing.

对美国最流行的企业补充养老保险—— 4 0 1(k)计划的运行机制、优缺点和设计模式做了详细的介绍和评述 ,指出了 4 0 1(k)计划对中国养老保险制度改革的启示∶虽然属于企业补充养老保险 ,但是“基金制”的运作模式势必要导入我们的养老保障系统。分析了 4 0 1(k)计划在中国的适用性问题。     

AWGN信道下TH-PPM UWB通信系统性能分析与仿真

首先介绍了TH—PPM UWB信号，然后从理论上对加性高斯白噪声（AWGN）信道下系统的性能进行了分析，包括误码率分析和系统容量分析，最后对系统的误码率和接入用户数进行了仿真比较。结果表明，重复码长度、脉冲重复时间和用户数目的选取对系统的误码率都有较大的影响，同时，系统容量与输出信噪比和数据传输速率有关并趋于定值。
