协整还是协变:来自中国进出口时间序列的经验证据(1950-2004)

结构突变是经典计量经济学所面临的难题之一,也是当前国际计量经济学界的一个前沿热点问题.本文采用带有内生结构突变的单位根检验,判定我国进出口时间序列服从具有两次结构变动的趋势平稳过程,而不是单位根过程.在此基础上进一步建立了同期协同结构突变向量自回归模型,即协变模型,得出了一些与常规的协整分析不同的结论,该模型具有更强的解释能力和更好的预测效果.     

出口贸易与外商直接投资关系研究

根据江苏改革开放以来的相关数据，运用ADF检验、协整检验、误差修正模型、格兰杰因果检验等研究方法，对27年来江苏出口贸易与外商在苏直接投资之间的关系进行计量研究，回答了以下两个问题：一是对外出口贸易与外商直接投资之间到底是替代、互补还是根本不存在任何关系；二是两者何为因果。

文章首先介绍了独立电源系统的特点，并阐述了独立电源系统有源滤波器谐波和无功电流的补偿原理。而后，根据独立电源系统的特点，提出了一种新型的谐波电流检测方法，通过与传统的瞬时无功功率理论和快速傅里叶变换提取谐波方法相比，该方法计算简单、准确度好、实现方便，具有较大的优越性，并在实际的有源滤波器装置中得到了较好的应用，表明该方法是正确和有效的。     

Purchasing power parity in transition countries: Old wine with new bottle

This study questions whether the long-run purchasing power parity (PPP) holds in the transition economies (Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romanian, and Russia) for the period from January 1995 to October 2011. We employ the Sequential Panel Selection Method (SPSM) procedure using the Panel KSS unit root test with a Fourier function, a novel approach to panel unit root testing. The SPSM approach classifies the whole panel into a group of stationary and non-stationary series and is able to account for structural breaks, nonlinearity, and cross-section dependence. The results indicate that the PPP holds true for more than half of these transition countries studied, with the exception of Hungarian, the Czech Republic and the Russia. The findings have important policy implications for the transition countries.     

Defining Markets for Ex Ante Regulation using the Hypothetical Monopoly Test

The EU is gradually systematizing its approach to ex ante regulation (notably with the publication of the recent regulatory framework for Electronic communications). Market definition is viewed as an essential first step in this, with the ‘Hypothetical Monopoly Test’ a useful conceptual tool for use in the assessment. This paper examines the use of this test for market definition when there are several differentiated goods or services under consideration. It sets out an analytic framework, discusses the pros and cons of using the test and illustrates its use in a Telecom context.
