Should a marketer adopt a pan‐cultural or a culture‐specific approach when using colour in marketing? Colours exercise powerful effects and induce reactions based on both instincts and associations. Colours alter the meanings of the objects or situations with which they are associated and colour preferences can predict consumers' behaviour. This article reviews the psychological and socio‐cultural associations and meanings of colour(s) in a cross‐cultural marketing perspective and outlines their role as a marketing cue. Because cultural values, marketing objectives and desired customer relationship levels influence the choice of colour in corporate and marketing communications, it is argued that a cross‐cultural perspective of colour research and application is imperative for developing global marketing strategies. 相似文献

本研究基于反倾销应诉的视角,探讨了行业协会治理结构对其服务功能的影响。不同于先前文献,本研究利用粤浙两地的调查样本经验考察了行业协会的组织架构、治理模式和政府支持度等因素对其服务价值的综合影响。基本结论认为,协会的行业代表性和成立资历有利于其反倾销应诉服务;自治权高或者自律性强也会促进其服务功能的发挥;而自利性让协会倾向于内部会员的俱乐部品供给,限制了其服务对象范围。研究还发现在深层的“制度缺位”前提下,政府的“资源型”扶持不利于行业协会的服务功能提升。政策启示在于:政府需借助事业单位改革契机,完善行业协会的“顶层设计”,推进其“自上而下”的治理模式向“自下而上”彻底转换,从而实现其为企业提供反倾销应诉服务等公共品时具有市场导向的服务理念。 相似文献

addiction to fame and celebrity. We believe that the global internet is one of the major drivers of this search for fame for
the sake of being famous. However, most people aspiring to be famous celebrities will not succeed in this quest, and become
disappointed. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the ethical implications of such social contagion, bandwagon effects
in today’s global business environment towards fame and celebrity. The contribution of this paper is to provide a future direction

Participation on tourism of the population of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) has enormously increased. Domestic tourism, however, stagnates. The German tourist regions have to expect a significant decrease in visitors, since an increasing segment of the German holiday-makers (now two thirds) travels abroad. The German domestic tourism providers and vacation travel organizers have not yet fully realized the new trends in the travel behavior. The unfavorable trend can only be met through a continually increasing supply with vacation homes and apartments. Moreover, the various resort towns need to join regional tourism associations which are able to achieve a more effective regional marketing for smaller tourist regions. Preparations for the establishment of regional tourism associations and programs for a subsidization of regional marketing plans are imminent. 相似文献

The post-socialist countries underwent dramatic changes in agricultural land ownership and production system. Former socialist collective farms have been dismantled, rural land has been privatized, and land markets have been formalized. Nevertheless, more than a decade later farming associations still persist in the choices that landowners make in terms of land reallocation despite collective action problems and the availability of leasing-out land as a close substitute. While the decision of farming the land individually has been well understood, there is less research on why landowners join farming associations rather than participate in land transactions. The paper examines this question using household survey data from the two largest agro-regions in Romania. I find that farming associations constitute a good land reallocation option for landowners that are resource constrained but are still willing and able to be engaged in farming. Associations provide security of tenure and capital access, allowing landowners to draw on the benefits of scale economies. Leasing-out is a viable alternative for younger landowners who can engage in non-farming activities and for older landowners with limited farming abilities. 相似文献

根据近年来我国行业协会发展中存在的内部治理问题,基于利益相关者理论,运用博弈论构建行业协会内部治理问题的博弈模型,寻求行业协会内部利益相关者的博弈均衡点,并进行相应的机制设计。分析得出:权责分明是实现内部治理机制优化的最基本的条件;对行业协会的理事会和监事会应侧重隐性声誉激励与约束,对秘书处等内部工作机构则应侧重显性的激励与约束。 相似文献

(2016) aim to contribute to brand equity literature by introducing the concept of Consumer-Based Brand–Retailer–Channel Equity (CBBRCE) to capture the synergies created by brand, retailer, and channel equity. This commentary discusses their study in light of extant literature and provides alternative viewpoints. Specifically, it focuses on one of the key issues these authors investigate, namely retailer equity, with a view to highlighting the limitations in current retailer equity measurement.
