Effects of mentoring functions on receivers' organizational citizenship behavior in a Chinese context: A two-study investigation

This research examines the relationship between mentoring functions received by employees and their organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and the moderating effects of perceived quality relationships with mentoring function providers in China. Results of Study 1 from a sample of 385 supervisor-subordinate dyads reveal that role modeling received by protégés positively relates to their OCB, and perceived mentoring relationship quality moderates the association between career support received and protégés' OCB. Moreover, nonprotégés and protégés who receive high levels of overall mentoring functions perform more OCB than protégés who receive low levels of mentoring functions. Results of Study 2 from 258 supervisor-subordinate dyads show that role modeling received by subordinates positively relates to their OCB directed at individuals (OCBI) and at the organization (OCBO) while career support received positively relates to OCBO. Additionally, leader-member exchange moderates the linkages of role modeling with OCBI and OCBO.     

我国政府转型与经济增长的实证分析

以1978—2008年的统计数据为依据,从我国财政支出及其结构的角度出发,描述我国改革开放以来政府职能的转变。对许多学者所认为的投资对经济增长的拉动作用会逐渐减弱以及城乡收入差距拉大的解决方案是增加财政中的支农支出进行实证分析,得出与一般理论相违背的结论,在此基础上提出我国政府职能转变应从转变经济增长方式,实现社会公平、公正方面入手。     

中国企业内部资本市场的功能、陷阱及其法律规制

中国现阶段内部资本市场具有优化融资渠道、催化产业整合以及改进公司治理的功能,但由于信息不对称及代理问题而存在利益侵占、过度投资、风险扩散以及低效率补贴等诸多潜在陷阱。完善的法律规制体系将有助于减少机会主义的内部资本市场运作所带来的负面效应。     

The Benefit Function Approach to Modeling Price-Dependent Demand Systems: An Application of Duality Theory

In this article, we advocate more extensive use of the benefit function in specifying price-dependent or inverse demand models. We demonstrate how duality theory may be used to establish the interrelationships between the Marshallian (or Hicksian) inverse demands and Luenberger's adjusted price functions, allowing estimable inverse demands to be derived directly from a benefit function. We estimate two systems of inverse demands for Japanese quarterly fish consumption. Results indicate that the procedures and methods employed here appear promising, and may prove beneficial for quantity and welfare analysis when modeling systems of inverse demand functions.     

Modelling interactions among the housing market and key US sectors

This study evaluates the dynamic interactions among the housing market and ten key US sectors including: consumer discretionary, consumer staples, energy, financials, industrial, technology, health care, materials, utility and telecommunications. Long-run results indicate that the housing market is integrated with each of the ten sector and that the degree of convergence has increased over time and especially after the onset of the most recent housing crisis. Moreover, the housing market contributes most heavily to the common trends indicating that the housing market is the ‘leader’ market that drives each sector towards the long-run equilibrium relationships. Short-run analyses indicate causal linkages emanating from the housing market to each sector with reciprocal feedback. Finally, impulse response function analysis reveal that shocks from each sector affect the housing market but that shocks from the housing market have a (comparatively) more profound and persistent impact on each sector.     

国土空间开发适宜性评价的反思

研究目的：厘清国土空间开发适宜性的概念内涵,揭示国土空间规划语境下适宜性评价的核心需求和现实挑战,反思与改进评价的逻辑思路。研究方法：文献资料法和归纳演绎法。研究结果：（1）国土空间开发适宜性概念经历了从土地利用到国土空间开发保护的嬗变,具有空间协调性、时序统筹性、效益综合性三重内涵;（2）国土空间规划对适宜性评价提出了安全、效率、品质等需求;（3）现行适宜性评价思路忽视了人类活动与国土空间长期交互的“适应性”状态、对地域功能的空间联系缺乏足够重视、对多元人本需求关注不足;（4）国土空间开发适宜性评价需尊重国土空间“适应性”状态、满足人类多层次需求、凸显适宜性空间结构,建立适宜性评价、适应性修正、结构性优化“三位一体”的思路。研究结论：科学辨识国土空间开发适宜性内涵,应对国土空间规划体系下适宜性评价的需求和挑战,改进国土空间开发适宜性评价逻辑和思路,赋能国土空间增值。     

国内外橡胶价格的动态关系分析

运用协整分析、格兰杰因果检验、脉冲响应函数等计量方法,使用1997年1月到2009年12月国内天然橡胶橡胶、国内合成橡胶、国际天然橡胶的月平均价格数据,研究了各类价格之间的动态关系。研究结果表明:国内天然橡胶、合成橡胶与以人民币计价的天然橡胶国际价格存在长期均衡关系,但与美元计价的价格则不存在;国内天然橡胶价格偏离时受其与国际市场的长期均衡的调整力强,国内天然橡胶和合成橡胶的均衡调整对后者的调整作用更大;天然橡胶国际市场价格对国内天然橡胶和合成橡胶价格都有较强的预测力,国内合成橡胶价格对天然橡胶价格具有预测力,反之,预测力很弱;国际天然橡胶价格变动对国内天然橡胶和合成橡胶的冲击大,尤其是对前者,但国内价格变动对国际价格的冲击力小;国内天然橡胶价格对来自合成橡胶的冲击反映相对慢,幅度也相对小,反之,则较为强烈。     

El Niño,La Niña,and world coffee price dynamics

Coffee is produced in equatorial and subequatorial regions of the world, which are also most affected by El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO). ENSO events have a tendency to amplify weather conditions such as droughts or excess precipitation in the affected regions, resulting in production shortage or excess supply, subsequently impacting agricultural commodity prices. In this research we assess effects of ENSO events on world coffee price dynamics using the monthly data between March 1989 and December 2010. We employ smooth transition autoregression framework to examine nonlinear dynamics of ENSO and coffee prices, and illustrate the results of this research using generalized impulse‐response functions. We find that ENSO events indeed have short‐term impacts on coffee prices. The research findings are of interest to coffee producers and intermediaries in the coffee markets as well as researchers in the fields of environmental and development economics.     

试论我国中小企业社会责任承担中的政府责任

由于多方面的原因,目前我国中小企业承担社会责任的现状还不尽人意。因此,政府应切实履行职能,转变经济增长方式,树立正确的政绩观;健全相关法律法规;不断增强服务意识,打造服务型政府,努力为企业履行社会责任解除后顾之忧;完善竞争激励机制,加强监督和管理,加强教育培训;加强对企业社会责任的宣传,建立与完善信息披露制度,保证企业社会责任报告的真实性。
