The link between consumer feedback metrics and consumer expenditure at the microeconomic level has been extensively examined. However, little is known at the macroeconomic level about the influence of consumer feedback metrics on consumer expenditure. Relying on actual data concerning consumer feedback metrics and consumer expenditure, the present study examines the influence of various consumer feedback metrics on consumer expenditure in the tourism industries. Our study collected data about consumer feedback metrics and consumer expenditure over the period 2008–2017. The findings indicate that consumer satisfaction and consumer effort score (CES) are the best performing consumer feedback metrics in hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies industries. Furthermore, the top-2-box performs best for predicting consumer expenditure in online booking industry. The findings reflect the significance of consumer feedback metrics on the economy as a whole; therefore, efforts to boost consumer feedback metrics should consider a national agenda. 相似文献

Rapid growth of internet data has created enormous security challenges on authenticity, availability and integrity protection of these outsourced data. Hash function is one of the main solutions to face these challenges. This paper proposes a feedback iterative structure of hash function which utilises the variable feedback to resist attacks. Furthermore, to accelerate message diffusion, two novel modules are designed, one for iteration and the other for truncation. Experimental results show that the proposed hash function can effectively resist existing attacks. 传统离线信号分析软件处理的数据量庞大且采用单一串行结构,其处理速度通常比较慢。为此,提出了基于图形处理单元(GPU)+中央处理器(CPU)异构方式实现离线信号分析软件的并行化优化思路。首先将离线信号分析中的单一信号串行流程改进为多信号同时处理方式以实现并行效果,然后重点分析了流程中几个比较费时的典型侦察信号处理算法的特点并进行了算法的优化实现和验证,最后提出了离线信号处理优化准则和资源分配策略。试验结果表明,离线信号分析处理软件算法优化改进后,大多数算法处理加速比达到20以上,具有较好的工程实用性,同时该优化准则和策略对于软件化实时信号处理也具有一定的参考价值。 相似文献

Practitioners utilise customer feedback metrics (CFM's) to monitor business performance. However, the influence of CFM's on firm performance has been ignored. Thus, this paper aims to examine the effects of CFM's on firm performance. Our study collected data about CFM's, marketing efforts, and financial performance over the period 2005–2020 from American Customer Satisfaction Index. The present study used a multiple regression panel analysis to investigate the influence of different CFMs (i.e., SAT, Top-2-Box, NPS proportion, NPS value, and CES) on firm performance (i.e., gross margin, sales growth, and Tobin's Q), moderating by operating environment factors (i.e., munificence, power, and dynamism). Our results revealed that Top-2-box is the best predictor CFM's to compare firms in online booking, hotels, and online shopping industries, while consumer satisfaction is the best predictor for electronic and fixed telecom industries. CES is the best CFM's to compare companies in restaurants industries. Moreover, NPS is the best metric to compare different companies in holiday parks industries. The results provide considerable managerial implications for effective use of resources regarding investing in most suitable CFM's to enhance firm performance. 相似文献

We provide empirical evidence that cross-country yield curve gaps (parallel gap, twist gap, and butterfly gap) are predictive to the expected currency carry premiums using currency forward contracts. We find that the expected currency gains are more notable as these yield curve risk factors at time t indicate short-term bond prices of investment currencies to go up (positive parallel movement, negative twist, and positive butterfly). We also find carry gains are more sensitively affected by cross-country monetary shocks than currency-country inflation pressures and business cycles. We use self‐determination theory (SDT) as a framework for investigating how perceived autonomy‐supportive supervision positively influences conditions that motivate newcomer subordinates to engage in feedback seeking. Based on data collected from MBA interns at two time periods, perceived autonomy support predicted task autonomy, informal supervisor feedback, and subordinate relationship building, and the latter two mediated the relationship between autonomy support and feedback seeking. Our study provides an SDT perspective on newcomer socialization by highlighting the important role supervisor support for autonomy can play in motivating feedback seeking as a proactive socialization tactic.
