The paper investigated the moderating effects of supervisory adaptive selling behaviors on the feedback-performance relationship in industrial salespersons. A conceptual model was developed and three research hypotheses were empirically examined. The data were collected via a survey of a national random sample of industrial salespersons in US. The results indicated that adaptive selling behaviors by sales managers moderated the effects of positive behavioral feedback on salesperson performance. Positive output feedback had a significantly positive effect on salesperson performance, whereas negative feedback (output and behavior) was unrelated to salesperson performance. Thus, sales managers can improve the productivity of their salespeople by demonstrating adaptive selling techniques while providing positive feedback to them. 在大规模多输入多输出(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output,MIMO)系统中,基于压缩感知技术(Compressed Sensing,CS)开发高效的信道状态信息(Channel State Information,CSI) 反馈方案是现在研究的热点。针对现有的基于CS的信道反馈重构算法——正交匹配追踪(Orthogonal Matching Pursuit,OMP)算法存在重构时间长、数据量大可能会无法适用的不足,提出了一种改进的OMP算法,即广义正交匹配追踪(Generalized OMP,GOMP)算法对CSI进行高效重构。仿真结果表明,GOMP算法在重构精确度上高于OMP算法,特别是在较低的压缩比下优势更为突出;而且由于迭代次数减少,需要的重构时间也显著减少。 相似文献

The M / G /∞ queue with Optimistic Concurrency Control (OCC) is a model for a special form of parallel transaction processing in a real-time database. Transactions arrive according to a Poisson process and require some generally distributed execution time. One of the differences with ordinary multi- and infinite-server queueing models is that under OCC the successful completion of one transaction may immediately cause the failure of one or more of the other transactions. This happens if the completing transaction has overwritten a data-item that is in use by another transaction in progress. As soon as this failure is detected the failed transaction is restarted. So the total service time of a transaction consists of its final successful run and the time spent on unsuccessful runs.
In this study we develop an approximation for the distribution of the total service time, and test the approximation against simulation. Although in practice the number of servers is never unlimited, this study provides valuable insight in the asymptotics with respect to the number of servers. Does poor fit always lead to negative evaluations? Extension advertising and perceived brand quality
This article investigates the moderating roles of advertising strategy (relational vs. elaborational) and perceived parent brand quality on the influence that parent brand–extension fit exerts on consumer evaluations of both extensions and the parent brand. Two studies manipulate fit in terms of either brand concept consistency or product feature similarity. Lower fit results in negative consumer responses, yet an elaborational advertising strategy mitigates the negative effects of lower fit on extension evaluations. This mitigating effect is stronger for high quality than for average quality brands. The results also indicate extension feedback effects for the parent brand, suggesting that elaborational advertising strategies may reduce the impact of fit on parent brand feedback effects. This latter link is not moderated by parent brand quality. 相似文献

本文通过聚焦于现代组织情境中员工经常面对的阻碍性压力源,整合调节焦点理论和社会信息处理理论,重点探讨阻碍性压力源对员工创造力的影响,以及在这个过程中防御型调节焦点的中介作用和上级发展性反馈的调节作用。通过对38家企业的518对领导和员工的匹配问卷数据进行实证分析,得出以下研究结论:阻碍性压力源与员工创造力显著负相关;防御型调节焦点在阻碍性压力源与员工创造力之间存在部分中介效应;上级发展性反馈会削弱阻碍性压力源与防御型调节焦点之间的正向关系,且存在有调节的中介效应。本文检验阻碍性压力源通过防御型调节焦点影响员工创造力,以及上级发展性反馈在这一中介机制的理论边界,是对调解焦点和社会信息处理理论相关研究的有益补充,并且对企业管理者如何实施有效的管理策略来缓解阻碍性压力源的消极影响具有一定的指导意义。 相似文献
