Accounting for climate change and the self-regulation of carbon disclosures

Adopting a form of “critical dialogic engagement” (Bebbington et al., 2007), this paper explores how dominant environmental discourses can influence and shape carbon disclosure regulation. Carbon-related disclosures have increased significantly in the last five years, and many of these disclosures remain voluntary. This paper considers both the construction of self-regulated carbon disclosure practices and the role that this kind of carbon information may have in climate change-related decision making. Our preliminary findings indicate that the methodological diversity underpinning carbon disclosures may inhibit the usefulness of climate change-related data. To explore these issues, this paper focuses on the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and the use of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol as a reporting model within it.

提出利用混合P2P（Mixed Peer to Peer）架构结合MA（Mobil e Agent）技术解决移动计算环境下数据可靠收敛问题,在此基础上建立了MAMP（Mobile Agent and Mixed Peer Model）模型。分析了模型的系统结构和核心技术,重点阐述了MAMP模型的同步策 略——HVU( Highest Votes to Update)算法,给出了严格的数学证明。实验结果表明, 该模型基础下的算法具有较高的可靠性。     

IEEE1588v2高精度时钟同步协议的总体设计与实现

随着网络技术的发展,音频传输逐渐网络化,为保证音频数据传输的实时性,对异步的以太网提出了高精度的时间同步要求。而IEEE1588标准定义的PTP(Precision Time Protocol)协议正是为实现高精度时钟同步而制定的。本文系统地介绍了IEEE1588v2(第二版本的PTP协议)的原理,并从软件实现的角度给出了IEEE1588v2的总体设计。     

基于SNMPV2的中层管理者设计方法

在深入分析 SNMP协议和远程监控 ( RMON)网管技术的基础上 ,提出了一种基于 SNMPV2的中层管理者设计方法。该方法具有下列优点 :( 1 )管理信息库设计遵循 SNMPV2 -SMI标准 ,并弥补了 M2 M-SMI( SNMPV2中层管理者信息库 )的不足 ;( 2 )其轮询方法和报警机制优于现有的同类产品 ;( 3 )选用 IETF(因特网工程任务组 )最近推荐的安全协议作通讯协议 ,具有很好的安全性和互操作性 ,易于集成到任何支持 SNMPV2的网管系统中。     

SOCKS V5运用TLS协议实现防火墙强安全性的应用与研究

SOCKS是一种应用于防火墙技术的新协议标准，实现SOCKS协议的防火墙具有强壮的认证机制，且支持多种认证方法，为实现其强安全性，本文利用SOCKS可扩充性将TLS协议同SOCKS协议结合起来，阐述了在SOCKS V5中实现TLS协议原理，创建了一个强安全SOCKS防火墙系统，在该系统中实现了TLS安全结构，并对有关协议实现的程序模块作了改进与优化。     

基于固定电话网的中文短信息终端开发

研究了基于固定电话网（PSTN）的采用中文信息终端服务接口通信协议（CTSI）的短消息终（CPE）的软硬件开发。介绍了短信编辑接收系统与信息终端之间数据交换的协议，并以电子订货系统中发送订单为例，描述了信息终端与CTSI服务器之间链路建立、信息交互的整个过程。     

基于Linux的IPv6协议栈在高性能路由器中的研究与实现

随着互联网的迅速发展和网络规模的急剧膨胀,构建新一代的IPv6网络和研制高性能的IPv6路由器成为IP网建设的当务之急。本文在对基于Linux操作系统的IPv6协议栈分析的基础上,重点讨论了IPv6协议栈在高性能IPv6路由器中的实现,并针对高性能IPv6路由器中邻居发现协议(NeighborDiscovery, ND)在主控上实现时带来的链路层地址解析问题提出了解决方案。     

Sketching: Friend or Foe to the Novice Designer?

Previous research by one of the authors showed that novice designers do not use sketching as a way to generate, develop and communicate design proposals, but move immediately to three-dimensional modelling. Neither do they generate multiple solutions. The follow-up study described here addressed the questions: Does teaching two-dimensional modelling enable Grade 7 pupils to better express their ideas and organize their thoughts? What role does discussion play in pupils' attempts to generate a design proposal? Does the use of contextualising items make a difference to pupils' success with designing? Eight Grade 7 pupils were drawn from each of two classes. One class had received instruction in sketching; the other served as a control group. Each group of eight pupils was divided into single-sex dyads. The eight dyads were videotaped while producing a solution to a common design brief. Analysis of the data has provided insights into the effects of instruction on the proposals produced by pupils. Additionally, their ability to generate, develop and communicate design ideas is enhanced by both the dynamic relationship between pupils' talk and 3D modelling and the way the task is contextualised.
