This paper deals with a dynamic adjustment process in which adjustment of a key variable input (labor) towards its desired level is modeled in a panel data context. The partial adjustment type model is extended to make the adjustment parameter both firm- and time-specific by specifying it as a function of firm- and time-specific variables. Desired level of labor use is represented by a labor requirement function, which is a function of outputs and other firm-specific variables. The catch-up factor is defined as the ratio of actual to desired level of employment. Productivity growth is then defined in terms of a shift in the desired level of labor use and the change in the catch-up factor. Swedish banking data is used as an application of the above model. 相似文献

在利用非参数的DEA曼奎斯特生产率指数方法对中国农业全要素生产率进行求解的基础上,论文运用经济增长收敛理论对农业TFP(Total Factor Productivity)增长在1978~2005年转型期的收敛性情况进行检验,这包括从σ收敛、绝对β收敛到条件β收敛的全面检验。论文基本结论表明,整个转型期中国农业TFP增长并不存在显著的σ收敛和绝对β收敛性,但存在显著的条件β收敛性。论文最终还认为,通过一定政策性措施来实现中国农业TFP增长的绝对收敛是可能的。 相似文献

研究目的:科学分析区域农用地表层土壤重金属空间分异特征,为准确追溯污染源,合理安全利用土地资源提供合理的数据支撑。研究方法:基于传统统计、数据稳健性、空间变异和空间插值构建土壤重金属空间分异研究方法体系。研究结果:以江苏省某市为例,探讨6种农用地表层土壤重金属As、Cd、Cu、Hg、Pb、Zn的统计特征、数据稳健性、空间变异特征和空间分布情况。结果表明:这6种重金属原始数据均不符合正态分布,呈右偏强变异,均受到自然和人为因素的共同作用。Normal Score Transformation(NST)稳健处理后的数据能保持与原始数据几乎相同的内部变异结构,据此利用反距离加权法(IDW)所做空间插值预测效果最佳。研究结论:该方法体系通过引入数据稳健性的概念补充了常规土壤重金属空间分异研究中对局部异常值的处理思路,还为后续该类研究提供了更系统的研究思路。 相似文献

传统的短波令牌协议(HFTP)调度方式单一,在没有数据传送时,信道资源会被各节点间的令牌传递所占用,且令牌在通信质量较差时易丢失。基于此,提出一种多信道的分簇式短波令牌协议(CHFTP),通过以通信质量评估为标准的分簇算法和基于预约的动态令牌调度,减小了令牌丢失的概率和令牌传递、处理的开销,并给出了仿真分析。仿真结果表明,该协议的端到端平均时延和网络吞吐量明显优于短波令牌协议,CHFTP的平均时延最多可减少75%,网络吞吐量最多可增加66.7%,适合在短波通信网络中使用。 相似文献

ABSTRACTIn this study, we apply the dynamic network slack-based measure data envelopment analysis model (DNSBM) to measure the efficiency of Taiwanese banks during the period 2005–11. Using the network structure, we define intellectual capital creation capability as one of the production stages. In order to capture the dynamics of the transformation process, the nonperforming loans and loan loss reserves are defined as carryover items. This study offers sufficient information for managers to understand not only the overall performance of their banks but also the efficiency of each production stage and the dynamic changes of the overall and divisional efficiencies. 相似文献

This article investigates the effect of corruption on tourism demand for a panel of countries during 1999–2009 by using panel least square and fixed effects regressions. Prior research has considered only the linear effects of corruption on tourism. We examine the relationship between corruption and tourism in a non‐linear framework after controlling for economic and heritage factors. Air cargo demand is an important aspect of the operation and planning of private and public agencies responsible for airports. While most existing studies in this field include only geo-economic characteristics of airports and their hinterlands as explanatory variables, this study develops a gravity model of air cargo flows by trying to incorporate more factors that might influence international air cargo flows of an airport. The model is developed based on the panel data of air cargo services on scheduled routes at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport during the years 2004-2007. The results indicate that population, air freight rate and three dummy variables, including the regional economic bloc of the “Chinese Circle”(an informal partnership between Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China), the Open Sky Agreements and long established colonial links, are key determinants of international air cargo flows from/to Taiwan. These results suggest a wider array of factors needs to be considered in policy. 相似文献

Using data for 18 major tourist originating countries to India from 2001 to 2015, this study examines the major determinants of international tourist arrivals in India. The results indicate that past experiences of the tourists, per capita income in the tourist originating country, relative costs of living between India and the country of origin, and the level of infrastructure development in India are key determinants of international tourist arrivals in India. Furthermore, both transportation and communication infrastructure are important in attracting tourists to India. In particular, evidence suggests that availability of road and air network and telephone connections has favourable impacts on international tourist arrivals in India. These results are robust to the inclusion of additional variables. These results have important policy implications. 相似文献
