This study explores the role of the human body in tourism and focuses on cultural tourists’ experiences of flamenco dance and music in Seville, Spain. It is suggested that the tourists who fully engage in flamenco activities use their bodies towards different ends. First, through disciplined practice, tourists seek to remedy a lack of self-esteem. Second, bodies are used in order to fulfill the need for self-expression and self-exploration. Third, tourists use flamenco as a means to differentiate themselves from other social groups, and bodies are used to contest established social structures. These findings point to the centrality of the body in understanding tourists’ practices and the construction of embodied identities. 相似文献

The tourism and hospitality industry is largely influenced by the use of social media. However, there is still a need for more empirical research about the factors social media continuance usage and information sharing intentions among travel-related social media (TSM) users. With this realization, underpinned by elaboration likelihood model (ELM) and uses and gratifications theory (UGT), our study investigates the interrelationships of argument quality, source credibility, and information seeking, entertainment, and relationship maintenance motives, and social media continuance usage and information sharing intentions. Data gathered from TSM users in Korea were used to gauge the relationships through structural equation modeling. Argument quality leads to an increased activity in information seeking and entertainment motives, while source credibility positively influences information seeking, entertainment, and relationship maintenance motives. Information seeking, entertainment, and relationship maintenance motives trigger travelers' propensity to display higher social media continuance usage and information sharing intentions. 相似文献

基于我国参加的国际条约,我国应该保护《国际贸易术语解释通则》(INCOTERMS)的著作权和商标权。受到《著作权法》和《商标权法》保护的INCOTERMS在性质上应当作为我国法上的交易习惯而非国际惯例。对于INCOTERMS2010的适用,应当采取将其作为事实问题而非法律问题的态度。不能基于《民法通则》第142条第2款的规定适用INCOTERMS?2010,而应依照《合同法》关于交易习惯的相关规定适用INCOTERMS2010。 相似文献

This study investigates the major factors that can influence electronic data interchange (EDI) within the hotel industry. Results illustrate that some profile, channel, and task variables can influence EDI usage in the areas of purchasing, financing, and strategy. By identifying and testing relevant intraorganizational variables, this study offers insights to academics and practitioners regarding the usage of EDI within the hotel industry. Both researchers and brand managers have suggested that price promotion induced stockpiling can increase a household's usage frequency of a product. Empirical findings, however, contradict this relationship. In reconciling this inconsistency, laboratory results reported in this paper suggest that stockpiling may have the greatest effect on a product's usage frequency when usage-related thoughts about the product are highly salient. These results also suggest that when stockpiling stimulates usage frequency, it can do so by increasing perceptions of a product's versatility. These findings have implications for the advertising versus promotion debate. They suggest that consumer promotions and advertising might play a joint and complementary role in increasing product usage: promotions by encouraging stockpiling, and advertising by building the usage-related salience needed to deplete the stockpiled inventory.The authors are grateful to the Marketing Science Institute and to the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College for their financial support of this project. In this article, the authors investigate consumers’ consideration of media channels during different usage situations. They
develop a model that explains consumers’ media channel consideration as a function of the media channel’s perceived benefits.
In addition, they hypothesize that the usage situation affects consumers’ media channel consideration and that situation-based
benefit requirements moderate the effect of the benefits on their channel consideration. The authors test the hypothesized
relationships using survey data from 341 consumers regarding their consideration of 12 different media channels used by manufacturers
to communicate product information across three product-related usage situations. The results of the analyses support the
proposed model structure and confirm the expected relationships among perceived media channel benefits, usage situations,
media channel requirements, and consumers’ media channel consideration.

开发区的空间配置与使用事关我国推进城市化健康发展和建设资源节约型社会的目标.论文通过对长三角相关开发区空间结构的广泛调研,特别是对南京3个国家级开发区的全面问卷调查和走访,对开发区的空间配置与使用状况进行了典型分析.论文对开发区的空间配置与空间使用进行了界定,对开发区空间配置与使用的特征进行了实证分析,认为开发区空间配置的综合化特征与开发区空间使用的"断裂化"特征之间存在明显的错位.论文分析了造成上述开发区空间配置与使用特征的原因,并提出开发区应该按照新城市空间的功能要求,加强内部不同功能空间使用的融合,形成有机协调的内在空间关系. 相似文献
