Instant‐count sampling was tested on four municipal recreation areas in Athens, Georgia. Users were counted instantaneously on the areas at randomly selected times. From these counts, estimates of use and standard errors were achieved with a minimum of sampling time required. SummaryThis study estimated the cost-effectiveness of starting erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment with Viridal Duo relative to MUSE and Viagra over one year, from the perspective of the National Health Service. Decision analysis techniques were used to estimate the expected costs and consequences of managing ED, stratified by initial treatment. The model was based on estimates of clinical outcome and resource use obtained from published literature and a Delphi panel.Viridal Duo is a registered trademark of Schwarz Pharma;MUSE is a registered trademark of Astra Pharmaceuticals;Viagra is a registered trademark of Pfizer Consumer HealthcareStarting ED treatment with Viridal Duo instead of Viagra leads to an average 0.8 additional months during which a man can achieve successful erections (from 6.5 to 7.3 months) over one year, for an additional cost of £106 per patient (from £369 to £475). Starting ED treatment with Viagra instead of MUSE leads to an average 1.1 additional months during which a man can achieve successful erections (from 5.4 to 6.5 months) over one year and reduces the cost per patient by £85 (from £454 to £369).Fifty-two percent of patients who start treatment with Viridal Duo continue successfully over one year. This compares to 38% and 18% of patients who start treatment with Viagra and MUSE respectively. Eighty-seven percent of the total success with Viridal Duo can be directly attributed to this treatment when used first-line. In contrast, 68% and 44% of the total success attributed to Viagra and MUSE respectively can be attributed to these treatments when chosen first-line. Moreover, an additional 44% and 27% of the expected total success with MUSE and Viagra is attributable to Viridal Duo.Starting ED treatment with Viridal Duo rather than MUSE, when Viagra is either unavailable or contraindicated, increases the period during which a man can achieve successful erections by 1.8 months (from 5.5 to 7.3 months) for an additional cost of £14 per patient (from £460 to £474). Additionally, in patients who have previously failed Viagra, starting second-line treatment with Viridal Duo rather than MUSE leads to an average 1.6 additional months during which a man can achieve successful erections (from 4.0 to 5.6 months) over one year and reduces the cost per patient by £15 (from £493 to £478).In conclusion, Viridal Duo is clinically more effective than Viagra and MUSE. Therefore, starting ED treatment with Viridal Duo instead of Viagra or MUSE increases the period during which a man can achieve successful erections, albeit for an additional cost. This study aims to know what are the factors determining the adoption of M-Banking app among customers in Cameroon. In other words, what are the factors that influence users in their decisions to adopt and use a system or technology such as the MBanking app, and indirectly, what is the impact of this use on both the customers and financial inclusion? The research model developed relying on a combination of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM ), Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology ( UTAUT2 ), Information System Success Model ( ISSM ), and Protection Motivation Theory ( PMT ) and other constructs; it was then tested with a sample of 223 users of the “ SARA” M-Banking app of the financial institution called “ Afriland First Bank” . Findings revealed that: (1) utilitarian expectation, hedonic motivation, and status gain, habit, and perceived privacy concern have a significant influence on the intention to adopt M-Banking apps; and (2) the exploitative/explorative use of this technology has an impact on user’s loyalty and satisfaction but also contributes strongly to fostering financial inclusion in Cameroon. 基于临安昌北山区2010、2015和2020年土地利用监测数据,根据行为主体的主观用地意图为“三生”用地划分依据,依据土地利用转移矩阵、土地利用变化图谱、单一土地利用动态度、土地利用结构信息熵等方法测度昌北山区10年间的“三生”用地演变特征。结果发现,该地区10年间土地利用处于缓慢发展的阶段,但土地利用结构信息熵值不断增加,尤其2015年后人类活动干扰输入的负熵流明显增加,土地利用结构均衡度水平较低,昌北山区的土地利用系统内部结构向无序方向发展。究其原因,与当地工矿业用地扩张、盲目追求生产发展有直接关系。工矿业生产用地的增加会使土地利用系统内部结构无序发展,林草生态用地的增加可以使系统内部更趋于有序状态。分析结果为科学地调节昌北山区“三生”用地关系、探索“三生”良性互动的可持续协调发展之路提供基础研究支持。 相似文献

This paper proposes an accessibility-based spatial mixed logit (SML) model with panel data structure to examine the impacts of High-Speed Rail (HSR) on land cover change in large urban areas. Using data between 1990 and 2006, impacts of the Spanish HSR on Madrid’s Atocha railway station influence area – a 20 km radius buffer centred on the station – were investigated. To model the HSR impacts, besides socioeconomic variables, the development of both local and regional transportation networks with corresponding accessibility improvement is also taken into account to segregate the impacts of land-cover change brought by different sources of accessibility measures. In this study, two SML models are used: one incorporates regional accessibility indicators as a base model, and the other does not, acting as a control model. The model estimation results reveal that the reduction of the local and regional weighted travel average time has positive impacts on the Atocha station catchment area’s urbanised land-cover rates. Although the base and control models both achieve high goodness-of-fit values, the base model that considers regional accessibility reveals a better goodness-of-fit statistic and is more robust than the control model. It is concluded that the improvement of regional accessibility due to the arrival of HSR at Atocha station plays an essential role in the urbanisation of land cover changes in the study area. 相似文献

The electric bike (e-bike) is emerging as a new sustainable transport mode in Norway and has the potential to lead to increased cycling among the population. However, little is known about psychosocial determinants of e-bike use. The aim of the study was to examine the role of normative and environmental beliefs, the perceived attributes of e-bikes, and innovativeness and demographical factors related to e-bike use in a Norwegian sample. An online survey was used to collect data from 910 respondents, including both e-bike users (252) and non-users (658). The respondents were recruited via a commercial panel (response rate 42.04%) and a Facebook post. A structural equation modeling analysis was used to analyze the data. The structural model had a good fit to the data. The results showed that attitudes towards e-bike use followed by innovativeness were the most important predictors of e-bike use. The normative processes measured within the Norm Activation Model activated positive attitudes towards e-bike use, which in turn predicted e-bike use. There was a negative relationship between e-bike and conventional bike use, while a positive relationship was found between car and e-bike use. The results are discussed with regard to their implications for interventions aiming to promote e-bike use. 相似文献
