中小投资者法律保护与公司权益资本成本

本文以1993年至2001年之间我国证券市场进行股权再融资的上市公司为样本,采用时间序列分析方法深入考察我国证券市场不同历史阶段里中小投资者法律保护与公司权益资本成本关系的变化。研究结果表明,在我国证券市场发展的历史实践中,随着中小投资者法律保护措施的加强,上市公司的权益资本成本出现一个逐步递减的过程现象;在控制公司特征和宏观经济变量的情况下,中小投资者法律保护程度与上市公司的权益资本成本呈显著的负相关关系。

大兴安岭图强林业局冬季漫长,气候寒冷,是全国发展毛皮动物的最佳区域。从2002年开始至今,引进的北极蓝狐、优质芬兰种狐、美国短毛漆黑水貂等为主的皮毛动物养殖业得到了迅猛发展,以狐、貂、貉、獭兔为主的毛皮动物饲养业从无到有,由小到大,落地生根。目前,已建成了黑龙江省最大的毛皮动物养殖基地,养殖区占地面积近100万m^2,养殖总量已突破10万只。

System of crop intensification for more productive,resource-conserving,climate-resilient,and sustainable agriculture: experience with diverse crops in varying agroecologies

With continually increasing demand for food accompanied by the constraints of climate change and the availability and quality of soil and water, the world’s farmers are challenged to produce more food per hectare with less water, and with fewer agrochemical inputs if possible. The ideas and methods of the system of rice intensification which is improving irrigated rice production are now being extended/adapted to many other crops: wheat, maize, finger millet, sugarcane, tef, mustard, legumes, vegetables, and even spices. Promoting better root growth and enhancing the soil’s fertility with organic materials are being found effective means for raising the yields of many crop plants with less water, less fertilizer, reduced seeds, fewer agrochemicals, and greater climate resilience. In this article, we review what is becoming known about various farmer-centred innovations for agroecological crop management that can contribute to agricultural sustainability. These changes represent the emerging system of crop intensification, which is being increasingly applied in Asian, African, and Latin American countries. More research will be needed to verify the efficacy and impact of these innovations and to clarify their conditions and limits. But as no negative effects for human or environmental health have been identified, making these agronomic options more widely known should prompt more investigation and, to the extent justified by results, utilization of these methodologies.     

我国城市公共艺术设计现状及对策研究

随着经济的不断发展,公共艺术已成为一个国家、地区城市发展程度的重要体现,作为一种服务于大众的艺术正逐渐融入我们的生活当中,变成生活中不可或缺的一部分。公共艺术促进着城市的发展,城市是公共艺术赖以生存的地方,二者紧密相关不可分割。本文将对我国当今的公共艺术现状和未来发展进行分析和论述,将目前城市和公共艺术两者之间的关系、公共艺术作品目前存在的问题等进行分析,并提出相关建议。     

The effects of beach characteristics and location with respect to hotel prices

This paper measures the effects of beach characteristics and hotel location with respect to the beach on sun-and-beach hotel prices by using a well-established hedonic perspective. The paper’s main results are that, after controlling for the relevant variables, location in front of a beach increases the price of a room in costal hotels of Catalonia by a figure between 13 and 17%, and that a Blue Flag increases the price by around 11.5%. The effects on hotels’ prices of other beach characteristics (such as beach length, width, sand type or beach services) are also estimated. With these estimates, the paper ranks beaches according to their characteristics and provides a setting to assess different policies regarding beaches from the point of view of hotels, such as regeneration, maintenance or achieving a Blue Flag award.     

The public house and its role in society's margins

The aim of this conceptual paper is to explore the contribution of the British public house (pub) to marginalised sections of the community. There is a long tradition that celebrates the pub's quasi-egalitarian ethos as welcoming people from all walks of life. However, increased financial pressures on the pub sector dictate an evolution in this role, especially towards disadvantaged sections of society. This situation merits further examination by researchers, managers and policy makers. The paper draws on evidence from different traditions of research including management, sociology, history and geography, to develop a conceptual framework highlighting the issues facing these stakeholders in today's business environment.
