黑龙江森工林区接替产业发展评价

运用熵权灰色关联分析法对黑龙江省森工林区所辖4个林业管理局2012—2017年养殖业、绿色食品等5个接替产业综合发展水平进行评价,并运用耦合协调度模型测算接替产业的均衡水平。结果表明:不同林业管理局的5个接替产业均呈波动发展状态;伊春林业管理局的优势接替产业是养殖业、绿色食品、北药开发和工业,牡丹江林业管理局的优势接替产业是绿色食品,合江林业管理局的优势接替产业是服务业,松花江林业管理局没有显著的优势接替产业;接替产业的综合发展水平偏低导致其均衡水平不高,总体上由初步协调向中度协调发展。因此,各林业管理局应继续发展具有优势的接替产业,同时扶持相对薄弱的接替产业,并开发与引进新的接替产业。     

Stochastic Frontier Estimation of Market Power in the Food Industries

We use a modified version of the stochastic frontier model to estimate oligopoly markups above the perfectly competitive frontier, separating out deterministic markups from purely stochastic markups. Using data from 42 US food processing industries between 1990 and 2010, empirical results indicate a widespread incidence of oligopoly power, with Lerner indexes averaging approximately 21%. Further, the estimated markups increase with industrial concentration but decrease with price elasticities and imports. Finally, the estimated Lerner indexes are in the range of previous food industry estimates using New Empirical Industrial Organization (NEIO) models.     

Perspectives on Natural Resources in the Global Economy: Polity Series Review

Polity's ‘Resources’ series is a set of scholarly books, each of them dealing with a single resource or resource‐based commodity from a generally global or international perspective. As of this writing, nine books have been published in the series, six of which I review here. The series is a welcome contribution to interdisciplinary and overall critical perspectives on the social and environmental dimensions and implications of the international appropriation, production and exchange of natural resources. While there is no clear disciplinary bent or theoretical foundation running across the volumes, together the books develop a transnational perspective, stressing the linkages between specific sites of appropriation and production, on the one hand, and broader political economic networks of processing, finance, coordination, commercial distribution and social regulation, on the other. The books should serve as valuable references to researchers in academic, government and non‐government institutional settings, but should also prove valuable for undergraduate teaching on contemporary natural resource industries and their social regulation.     

高技术产业对传统工业的波及影响分析

文章运用投入产出法,根据2002年和2007年中国42部门投入产出表以及OECD美国2007年的投入产出表计算了中国及美国高技术产业和传统工业的完全消耗系数,结合两国高技术产业的发展情况,对两国产业升级情况进行定量对比分析。分析表明中国技术密集型产业对高技术产业的消耗尤为突出,而劳动密集型产业对高技术密集型产业消耗较低。并依据数据为我国产业发展提出建议。     

美日两国产业结构政策比较

日本产业从战后的废墟中得以重建和繁荣,并以惊人的速度赶超欧美,成为世界第二大经济强国,日本政府英明的产业结构政策功不可没。然而面对20世纪90年代日本经济的极度萧条,政府的产业结构政策已无回天之力。相比之下,美国政府通用的产业结构政策却引导美国的产业发展在信息时代仍然处于不败之地,这不能不引起我们的思考。

Infinitesimal Firms and Increasing Cost Industries

This article presents a rigorous version of the basic model of an increasing-cost competitive industry found in many textbooks. In the model, firms are infinitesimal, which justifies price-taking behavior and a continuous industry supply curve. The industry supply curve slopes upward because of dispersion in the efficiency of firms. In this framework, the authors emphasize the role of the marginal firm. This role is not clearly emphasized in many textbook presentations of the increasing cost industry.     

温州龙湾区传统产业集聚发展路径研究

温州龙湾区历来是温州的工业大区和经济强区,其产业集聚的形成和发展,是温州整个工业经济发展的缩影,因而具有普遍性和代表性。本文以产业集聚形成和发展的内生机制为切入点,在分析温州龙湾区产业集聚发展的历史和现状基础上,提出本区产业集聚发展的路径选择。
