西方文明与经济全球化

近代西方文明的发展表现出对世界经济的深刻影响力,全球化成为了不以人们意志为转移的历史趋势。在全球化的背景下,西方文化加紧了对外扩张的步伐,而其实质则是利益的扩张。清醒地认识这一点,是我们在文化发展中既顺应文化融合的大潮,超越狭隘的民族局限,积极与世界沟通对话;同时又不受制于西方文化扩张的影响,熔东西方文明于一炉,从而为世界经济的发展提供不竭动力,并使经济全球化的进程沿着我们所期待的方向发展的前提。     

Vertical Integration and Efficiency: Ownership in the Swedish Sawmill Industry

This study investigates different types of vertically integrated ownership types inrelation to technical efficiency, in the Swedish sawmill industry. The theoreticalfindings connecting vertical integration and efficiency points in two directions:both in favour for non-integrated firms and in favour for fully integrated firms.In the study, significant differences between ownership types are not found. Onepossible interpretation of this result is that the integration advantages outweigh thepossible negative effects an integrated firms will have from maximising an integratedobjective function.     

Financial integration and the price of world covariance risk: Large- vs. small-cap stocks

We investigate whether recent country-level evidence of global pricing is particular to large-cap stocks. Specifically, we examine cross-country return correlations and conduct asset pricing tests on three size-based stock portfolios for nine developed countries over the period from 1980 to 2004. We find that large-cap stocks realize significant comovements across countries, whereas small-cap stocks realize smaller average correlations (relative to both large-cap stocks and small-cap stocks across countries). More important, asset pricing tests suggest that while large-cap stocks are priced globally, global pricing is rejected for most small-cap stocks. Finally, the evidence indicates that financial integration deepened in recent years primarily for large-cap stocks. Overall, the results suggest that the global pricing pertains chiefly to large-cap stocks.     

Uncertainty in the transaction environment: an empirical test

Previous studies examining the relationship between uncertainty and vertical integration have produced a conflicting set of results. To clarify this puzzle we drew on the literature to conceptualize three distinct forms of uncertainty—primary, competitive, and supplier—and hypothesized that each had a different effect on vertical integration. The hypotheses were tested using experimental data collected from 308 managers. Consistent with our prediction of differential effects, we found that primary and competitive uncertainty were negatively associated with the decision to vertically integrate, but supplier uncertainty was positively related to the vertical integration decision. No interaction effects were found. Implications for theory and research are suggested. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

乡村振兴战略下农村产业融合、人力资本与农民增收*——以浙江省为例

［目的］乡村振兴战略是贯彻新发展理念,建设现代化经济强国的重大战略之一。农村产业兴旺,农民生活富裕是乡村振兴战略的重要目标。农村一、二、三产业融合发展是实现乡村产业振兴,农民增收的重要途径。农村人力资本状况关系到农村产业融合的人才建设,关系到农民增收的实现。文章力图探究乡村振兴战略下农村产业融合、人力资本与农民增收间的相互作用关系,以期为乡村振兴战略的实现提供政策建议。［方法］以浙江省为例进行实证分析,通过建立PVAR模型,采用格兰杰因果关系及面板数据模型进行检验。［结果］农村产业融合及人力资本构成农民增收的格兰杰因果关系,两者都对农民增收产生显著影响,且人力资本影响效应更大。农民增收及人力资本对农村产业融合没有起到相应的促进作用。［结论］在实证分析的基础上,从加大人力资本投入、培育农村产业融合复合型人才及加强宣传引导工作等方面提出相应的政策建议促进农村产业融合。     

DEFINING AND OPERATIONALIZING SUPPLY CHAIN PROCESS INTEGRATION

Integration has been recognized as critical to successful supply chain management. However, an extensive literature review revealed no consensus in its conceptualization. The current study attempts to address this research gap by providing a better definition and operationalization of supply chain process integration. With empirical support, it is proposed that internal and external supply chain process integration should be treated as two separate constructs, each comprised of two dimensions: connectivity and simplification.

The persistence of earnings per share

The persistence of innovations to accounting earnings per share, EPS, has important implications for equity valuation, yet it remains a largely neglected subject. This paper employs various empirical tests in order to measure the persistence of shocks to EPS for the S&P 500 index. Within the I(0)/I(1) paradigm the empirical evidence rejects the I(1) specification, supporting instead a trend-stationary representation. When fractional orders of integration are considered, the results indicate that the detrended series is long memory (d  >  0) and mean reverting (d < 1). The responses decay slowly to zero, albeit 50 quarters after an initial shock the responses remain significantly different from zero. Likewise, the variance ratio evidence suggests that the effect of a shock persists over time spans characteristic of the business cycle.

价值模块整合双元性对物联网商业模式的影响

着重探讨了价值模块整合双元性对物联网商业模式的影响,分析了利用性价值模块整合和探索性价值模块整合两类相互冲突的活动在物联网商业模式构建过程中的可能关系。利用来自142家企业的问卷调查数据,运用层次回归分析方法检验了相关假设。结果显示:价值模块整合双元性的组合维(利用性价值模块整合与探索性价值模块整合的交互)对物联网商业模式具有显著的正向影响;网络嵌入强化了价值模块整合双元性的平衡维(利用性价值模块整合与探索性价值模块整合的平衡)对物联网商业模式的影响。
