The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has a lasting and unprecedented negative impact on the global aviation industry. While countries such as China have successfully curbed the domestic outbreak of the virus with various restrictive and preventive measures, the challenge of avoiding imported cases remains. More importantly, it is still unclear to what extent these implemented aviation emergency responses have effectively mitigated the transmission risk of the virus. This paper provides an empirical assessment of aviation responses to the control of imported COVID-19 cases, with a focus on the following three strategies: the “circuit breaker” policy, the “negative Nucleic Acid testing (NAT)”, and the “double negative tests” requirement. Non-recursive structural equation models (SEM) with latent variables were applied to detailed international flight data and individual epidemic survey data of Guangzhou, China, between May 1 and November 30, 2020. The results show that the “double negative tests” measure has a positive effect on eliminating the number of SARS-CoV-2 carriers, while the effects of single “circuit breaker” and its co-intervention with “negative NAT” are conterproductive. This study provides important implications to civil aviation agencies in regard to medium and long-term risk control of imported cases. Specifically, although the circuit breaker mechanism was designed to target on the risk control of imported COVID-19 cases, it may be more effective to carefully maintain a timely and reliable pre-boarding screening and testing to curb the number of imported cases. 相似文献

This paper attempts to empirically analyze green/healthy B&B promotion strategies for tourism recovery after the first wave of COVID-19. The survey will be meaningful in the real world of B&B tourism recovery, and it was conducted during the first Chinese national holiday without travel restrictions. China was the first country to resume travel after COVID-19. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used for testing. The relationships observed among the green/healthy physical environment, well-being perception (WBP), tourist satisfaction (TS), and tourist loyalty (TL) provide a better understanding of how to support sustainable tourism recovery. Green/healthy B&B promotion strategies that focus on a green/healthy physical environment after the health crisis can also be employed in other countries and regions experiencing the same situation. 相似文献

ABSTRACTIn this article we study the influences of esthetic, functional, and symbolic dimensions of design on attitude toward fjord cruise boats and intention to recommend using the product. Also, we argue for the importance of a product to blend in with the surroundings in which it is used – contextually congruent design. In two studies we find that aesthetic, functional and contextually congruent design has positive influences on attitude toward fjord cruise boats. 文章通过分析国内外相关文献,运用结构方程模型(SEM)方法,构建乡村旅游的社区参与、居民旅游影响感知与社区归属感的结构方程模型,对社区参与、居民旅游影响感知与社区归属感的关系进行探讨。以浙江安吉为例,采用Amos7.0软件对模型进行参数估计和假设检验,结果表明:社区参与对旅游感知、社区归属感均具有显著的正向影响,其路径系数在0.173~0.606之间,t值介于2.042~9.954,显著性概率P小于0.001或0.05,模型所建立的因果关系与研究假设相符合,模型可以接受。同时提出乡村旅游发展的相关建议,有利于乡村旅游可持续发展。 相似文献

残疾人是社会的重要组成部分,残疾人旅游市场是我国一块有待开发的处女地,开发残疾人旅游市场有利于完善我国的旅游市场。本研究以残疾人为调查对象,利用无助理论对其旅游障碍、旅游参与意图等进行了实证分析。通过结构方式模型发现:残疾人的旅游障碍因子有3项(本能障碍、交流障碍、环境障碍);旅游障碍因子与旅游参与意图之间无直接显著性影响;残疾人旅游障碍因子中除了交流障碍因子外,本能障碍、环境障碍对无助感有正(+)的显著性影响;无助感对旅游参与意图间有反(-)的显著性影响。最后,在分析本研究结论的基础上提出了本研究的不足和未来的研究方向。 相似文献

Structural equation modeling (SEM) is a powerful statistical technique that establishes measurement models and structural models. On the other hand, multiple regression (MR) is considered a sophisticated and well-developed modeling approach to data analysis with a history of more than 100 years. This paper empirically compares SEM and MR by testing a model of commitment in a B-to-C e-commerce travel context, shedding light on applications of these two popular methods in tourism research. The findings indicate that only two significant relationships are justified by MR. In comparison, SEM results reveal more statistically significant relationships after the “best-fitting” measurement model with model D being the “best-fitting” model. The findings support some key empirical limitations of MR as a widely used statistical technique in the tourism research. 相似文献
