Technology provides endless promising possibilities to support people's lives. In reality, it is not a matter of what is possible, but rather a matter of how and when technology will be integrated, accepted and adopted by people. However, conventionally within organizations the areas of technology development and market research are not closely related nor applied in the process of innovation and do not always share the same scope. In that sense there is a gap between the potential of technology and humankind's preferences.This paper discusses the current areas of technology development and market research in a business environment and proposes an integrated approach to bridge the gap between technology and people, in which people, rather than market sizes become central in the development of technology. In addition, it also describes how this approach of people-driven innovation is brought into practice through the development of early experience demonstrators. The core focus of this paper is on the processes and practices regarding innovation within an organization, rather than the adoption of innovation by users or the rate of the adoption of a marketed solution (Rogers, 1995 [E.M. A growing body of academic and practitioner literature has highlighted the differences in definitions and approaches to customer relationship management (CRM), suggested frameworks for successful CRM implementation, and provided evidences of CRM success and failure. Such accumulating wisdom might be expected to imbue practice with knowledge of what works better in CRM and to entail, therefore, an improving experience of CRM over time. To date, however, the effect of experience on CRM implementation has not been discussed in literature. This paper studies CRM from the organisational learning perspective. It provides evidence from empirical research conducted among users (firms), consultants, and suppliers (software vendors) about the effect of experience on CRM. The exploratory research findings of this study draw attention to the extent to which firms deploying CRM are sensitive and responsive to what they might learn from their implementation efforts and establish a platform for future research. The paper suggests the need for the two processes of CRM and organisational learning to move in tandem to be mutually beneficial. 相似文献

外向型经济转型的逻辑、政策和启示——基于国际经验比较的分析 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
20世纪80年代到90年代,日本、韩国和中国台湾地区实现了外向型经济的转型。转型之前,三个国家和地区都具有顺差持续扩大、经济高速增长、高储蓄率、高投资率和低消费率以及汇率管制和;12率低估等显著经济特征。通过实施相应的汇率调整政策、结构性经济政策和宏观经济政策,三个国家和地区实现了需求结构的变化和供给结构的调整,进而推动了外向型经济的成功转型。通过对三个国家和地区外向型经济转型经验的总结,可以得出五点启示:一是要注重长期和短期政策的配套实施;二是要形成更富有弹性的汇率调整机制;三是要实施多层次的经济结构调整政策;四是要采取审慎和稳健的宏观经济政策;五是要推进多个层面的经济体制改革。 相似文献

This study focuses on the occupational well-being process in the formation of hotel employees’ subjective well-being based on the recovery experience scale (RES). More specifically, the study (1) evaluates the construct validity of the RES in the hotel sector and (2) examines structural relationships between the RES, organization-based self-esteem (OBSE), job dedication (JOD), career satisfaction (CAS), and life satisfaction (LIS) in a heuristic model. To test the hypotheses, a total of 376 hotel employees were considered in an empirical analysis using a two-step SEM approach. The results verify sufficient validity for the four RES factors and reveal that all recovery experiences, namely psychological detachment, relaxation, mastery experiences, and control, predicted OBSE. In addition, OBSE had positive effects on JOD, CAS, and LIS, and JOD and CAS had significant positive effects on LIS. These results have important implications, and the study's limitations provide some interesting avenues for future research. 相似文献
