Social media are increasingly relevant as part of tourism practices affecting destinations and businesses. Based on a destination-specific survey, this study charts and explores summer holidaymakers' motivations for social media contributions and their willingness to share content through various social media. The findings in relation to the much-visited destination of Mallorca offer an understanding of the adoption of tourist social media in technologically-advanced markets with high levels of ICT use. The results provide insights into such motivational factors as personal and community-related benefits as well as the social capital that influences a sharing of user-generated content. The study reveals a dominance of visual content, along with the relevance of altruistic and community-related motivations and motivational differences between types of content creators. Sharing practices through social media appear as valuable articulations of sociability and emotional support, while having lesser relevance as information sources for holiday decision-making. The paper additionally shows the extent to which old and new technologies overlap and complement each other. 相似文献

Despite increasing research regarding the buffering conditions of customer incivility, little attention has been paid regarding how firm-driven tactics can serve as buffers between customer incivility and work outcomes. To fill this gap in the literature, our research assessed the relationship between daily customer incivility, next-morning self-efficacy as it related to next-day service performance, and the cross-level moderating effect of perceived organizational control. Using the experience sampling method, we collected diary data from 135 South Korean service employees over five consecutive working days. The results of our multilevel analyses showed that customer incivility from one day had a significant indirect effect on next-day service performance through next-morning self-efficacy. Employees’ perceptions of behavior-based organizational control mitigated the negative relationship between daily customer incivility and next-morning self-efficacy. However, perceived outcome-based organizational control did not moderate the daily customer incivility-self-efficacy relationship. These findings suggest that managing service employees with behavior-based control is more effective than using outcome-based control when helping them cope with daily customer incivility. 相似文献

时间和空间不仅是自然科学领域和哲学层面的问题,也是当代人文和社会科学领域的重要话题。但时间问题在旅游研究中并未得到充分重视。文章着重探讨了旅游时间的性质与类型,将旅游时间由“旅游之外”引入“旅游之内”,提出了“旅游是时间与空间的统一形式”的基本思想;指出时空统一观是旅游学区别于其他学科的基本哲学观.时间视角与空间视角的有机结合,是全面地认识和考察旅游活动的性质与发展演变的基本分析视角。在此基础上,文章进一步研究指出,“旅游体验”应当成为旅游学理论建构的逻辑起点.不同时空尺度的组合构成了旅游学研究的十大对象(六大研究要素、四大关系对)与宏、微观两条研究路径。两条路径在各自研究对象、研究内容和研究方法上的差异,导致了旅游学研究在宏、微观上的分野。最后.文章根据旅游研究对象与相关学科的亲缘度构建了旅游学学科体系的基本框架,并展望,时空视角作为一种创新的旅游研究方法,可能会起到为不同学科在旅游研究问题上的融合与交流搭建桥梁的作用。 相似文献

We draw from the institutional economics and organizational learning theories to clarify two international business debates. The first debate involves how institutional distance affects foreign affiliate performance: some propose a negative and others a positive direct effect. We clarify this debate by differentiating between negative and positive institutional difference. The second debate involves how experience modifies this relationship: some propose a negative and others a positive moderating effect. Btihlmann模型是贝叶斯方法在经验费率厘定中最为著名的应用,然而该模型在结构参数先验信息不足的情况下,并不能得出参数的无偏后验估计。本文针对传统方法的不足,运用基于MCMC模拟的贝叶斯方法对历史数据进行校正,通过Gibbs抽样构造出一种多层Poisson模型稳态分布的马尔可夫链,动态模拟出索赔频率的后验分布以及缺失参数值的后验估计,改进了传统的索赔校正模型,提高了计算的精度。利用WinBUGS软件包进行建模分析,证明了该模型的直观性与有效性。 相似文献
