战后日本对外贸易发展的动态比较优势分析

二战后日本经济从一片废墟中迅速崛起成功跻身于发达国家行列，其对外贸易在战后的50多年间一直保持着稳定的增长。日本出口商品结构沿着劳动密集型、资本密集型、知识和技术密集型的轨迹发展，逐步升级，顺应了世界经济产业结构调整的步伐，为其对外贸易的持续发展奠定了坚实的基础。日本对外贸易遵循的是动态比较优势原理，其经验对我国当前外贸发展具有重要的借鉴意义。     

Initial Margin Requirements, Volatility, and the Individual Investor: Insights from Japan

Initial margin requirements represent: (1) a cost impediment to the wealth constrained investor and (2) a potential way of mitigating excessive volatility. However, prior empirical research finds that margins are not an effective tool in reducing volatility. We consider the possibility that margins primarily affect certain stocks and investors. Specifically, we test whether margins affect individuals who, as a group, we believe to be the investors most affected when margin requirements change. Our initial empirical tests, however, do not support this contention.

This article first examines how bad housing conditions are in Japan based on international comparisons. The next question is whether the extremely high land prices in Japan can be explained by economic logic. We then turn to more specific housing policy questions that are peculiar to or important in Japan, such as the tax advantages of owning land that have caused under-utilization of land and the reasons why the average size of Japanese rental housing is so small.

浅析日本新《旅行社法》的特点

近年来日本旅行社业经营环境发生很大变化，表现在旅游者开始对旅游价格敏感，对差异性旅游产品需求旺盛，旅游电子商务使住宿业和旅游运输业的直销能力增强等方面。2003年，日本政府开始实施观光立国战略，争取在2010年实现吸引1000万入境旅游者来日本观光旅游的战略目标，对日本旅行社业提出更高的要求。为适应新环境，促进观光立国战略目标的实现，日本政府2005年4月1日开始实施新《旅行社法》。新《旅行社法》在旅行社业分类标准、旅程管理制度、营业保证金制度等方面做出了比较大的修订，将促进日本旅行社业的健康发展。     

物流在日本分销体系中的贡献及对我国的启示

传统的日本分销体系是典型的长渠道模式,而且还具有复杂性、多层次、低效率的特点,然而由于日本对物流的高度重视,现代化的高效物流配送体系对日本分销体系的改造起着极大的支撑作用。这对研究我国物流发展、发送我国配送体系具有一定的现实意义。     

A Spatial Structural Decomposition Analysis of Chinese and Japanese Energy Demand: 1985–1990

This paper proposes a spatial structural decomposition analysis to measure the effects of the changes in intra- and inter-country linkages on the embodied energy demand in the concerned country. For the empirical analysis, we have used the China- Japan inter-country input–output tables for 1985 and 1990, expressed in constant prices of 1990. The empirical results reveal that (1) at least for the period between 1985 and 1990, the effects of the non-competitive input structural changes in China on the primary energy requirements of Japan were negligible, and (2) the contribution of the Japanese final demand shifts on the total change in Chinese primary energy demand was 40 times larger than that of the Chinese final demand shifts on the primary energy requirements of Japan. The Japanese policy makers should concentrate on the energy impacts of the changes in the domestic production structure rather than the changes in the Chinese production structure.
