灾论

本文在阐述灾难的内涵并对灾难进行分类的基础上,揭示了灾难的后果和影响。文章指出,人类的生产、科学实验、战争等活动不停息,人类就不可避免地会遭遇灾难。任何灾难都会给人类造成严重的损失和伤害。鉴于灾难的发生及其后果、人类在灾难面前的表现和作为,人类应该正确认识灾难、客观总结灾难,吸取教训,不断增强防灾抗灾的能力,甚至让灾难造福于人类。     

谈项目前期阶段的造价控制

作者从工作实践出发,谈了项目前期阶段造价控制的意义和条件。文章着重阐述了怎样从真正意义上做好造价控制、把好造价关,特别强调了优化设计、加强设计文件与造价文件的审查力度对控制好造价的重要性。     

人工免疫神经网络在上市公司财务危机预警中的应用

根据我国证券市场和上市公司发展的现状,采用K-L信息量等方法选取财务比率指标和样本,使用人工免疫神经网络,以140家上市公司的财务指标作为建模样本,建立了财务危机预警模型,并使用同期不同的60家公司作为检验样本,对模型进行了检验.实证分析的结果表明,模型取得了91.7%判正率,高于使用BP神经网络对同一样本数据的预测精度87.6%.     

Robustness of Forecasting Financial Crises in Emerging Market Economies with Data Revisions—A Note

Data revisions routinely introduced by the World Bank can lead to significant revisions in empirical results. We show this by re-estimating our aggregate indicator for predicting the 1997 Asian crisis utilizing the 1999 and 2004 updates of the 1996 World Bank data and comparing these results to those we obtained (this Journal, 2000) for predicting the same event using the original, unrevised, 1996 World Bank data. Since most data-gathering organizations routinely revise their data, this may represent a much greater problem for policy makers than might be recognized.

The Child as Learner, Critic, Inventor, and Technology Design Partner: An Analysis of Three Years of Swedish Student Journals

From Autumn 1998 to Spring 2001, 27 Swedish children (14, at age 5 and 13, at age 7) partnered with an interdisciplinary and international group of researchers supported by a grant from the European Union to create new storytelling technologies for children. After each of the many design activities, children were asked to reflect with drawings and/or writing in a bound paper journal. As the project concluded in the third year, the children's journals were analyzed and four constructs emerged from the data: learner, critic, inventor, and technology design partner. This study examines the motivation for such a research and learning experience, describes the changes in roles we saw represented in our child partners' journals, and suggests possible future directions for educators and technology developers. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.

社会观念、社会风气的转变是社会变迁的一个重要方面。清末民初安徽传统的"重义理,轻艺事"观念、"重农轻商""重儒轻商"观念的动摇,男女平等观念开始出现端倪,旧的生活方式和政治生活方式的些许变化及读新书、阅报刊、学外语、出国留学等新风气的出现,表明清末民初安徽传统的社会观念、社会风气在一定程度上、一定范围内有了异于传统的变化。这些变化,既是外力冲击的结果,也是安徽自身为适应时代的变化而不断自我调整的结果。但这些变化主要是发生在城市、城镇及社会上层,广大农村及社会下层的观念、风气还是较为保守的,对安徽社会来说,要使变化从点发展到面,从上延伸到下,还需要一段路程要走。
