A growing body of research on informal settlements considers the experiences of children, but seldom outlines the daily parenting experiences of adult men and women. At the same time, policy on housing in South Africa points to the ways in which the ‘eradication’ of informal housing will help provide children with better futures. This article explores the social relation of parenting within an informal settlement in Durban, South Africa, bearing in mind the broader difficulties of parenting in poverty, and points to ways in which the material qualities of informal settlements contribute to feelings of anxiety in parents. It questions how these experiences might differ from or be similar to those of parents who live in generic contexts of poverty (but not necessarily informality). It concludes ultimately that living in an informal settlement does actually contribute to particular parental anxieties, but that there is no guarantee that informal housing eradication will remove these concerns. 相似文献

随着信息经济的迅猛发展,网络环境下的消费者行为越来越被广大的商家和学者所关注。本文探讨顾客消费情感与感知风险和行为意向的关系。在文献研究的基础上,提出了概念模型,并通过对旅游电子商务网站作实证调查,运用结构方程模型分析等分析方法,对这个模型进行了实证检验,得出以下结论:1、正面消费情感对感知风险有显著的负向影响;负面消费情感对感知风险有显著的正向影响;2、正面消费情感对行为意向有显著的正向影响,负面消费情感对行为意向有显著的负向影响;3、感知风险对行为意向有显著的负向影响。 相似文献

消费者的生态购买行为是构建生态消费模式的基础和重要组成部分。而现阶段我国消费者生态购买意愿相对不足,已有文献也缺乏基于中国情境的生态购买行为实证研究。基于此,本文首次在中国情境下对消费者生态购买行为的影响机制进行探讨。研究结果表明,我国消费者生态购买行为主要受到心理和社会文化因素的影响。我国消费者的生态购买意愿取决于生态态度以及生态知识、生态价值观和生态情感等因素的交互作用。消费者的生态知识及生态情感能够直接驱动生态购买意愿与行为。因此,为提升我国生态消费水平、构建生态消费模式,应加强生态教育,提高消费者生态知识水平;倡导文明生活方式,构建生态消费价值观;促进生态体验,培育消费者的生态情感;建立全方位制度环境,强化消费者生态态度的形成。 相似文献

一直以来,理论界将"诗言志"与"诗缘情"对立起来,从而形成文论发展的两个不同流派,似乎两者之间存在着某种不可互渗互补的矛盾性。事实上,理论界长期流行的这种"矛盾"说法有失偏颇。在中国文论发展史上,这两种说法不仅在文本来源上造就了一种虚假的矛盾性,而且在以"情"为本体的观念上也分化了两者的交叠重合,而"诗言志"与"诗缘情"矛盾的真正根源在于儒道观念的差异。 相似文献

This study examines the role of an individual’s belonging to some ethnic groups as it relates to the meanings associated with food consumption as well as the outcome(s) of ethnic food consumption. To achieve this goal, data were collected from 607 individuals, using a survey and structural equations analysis. Findings revealed that ethnic food consumption triggers specific emotions associated with different ethnic origins; there is a significant and positive moderating effect of sense of belonging to the product’s region of origin. Attachment serves as a mediator of the effect of ethnicity on commitment. These findings have several notable implications. 相似文献

Recognizing the increasing importance of healthiness in food-related businesses, this study attempted to investigate the role of consumers’ affective responses in a healthy food consumption context. To achieve its objectives, this study incorporated anticipated emotional constructs in a decision-making model and investigated the relationships among perceived healthiness, anticipated guilt and pleasure, and behavioral intentions (e.g., purchase, spreading positive word-of-mouth, and recommending the food) in a quick service restaurant setting. The results of this study suggest that anticipated pleasure positively influenced behavioral intentions and mediated the relationship between perceived healthiness and behavioral intentions, whereas anticipated guilt did not influence behavioral intentions. Additionally, this study investigated the moderating role of dietary concerns in consumers’ decision-making processes and found that the low dietary concerns group was more susceptible to anticipated pleasure compared to the high dietary concerns group.
