Financial functional analysis: a conceptual framework for understanding the changing financial system

The financial system is currently undergoing a revolution brought about by e-finance, digital convergence, new market entrants and government-encouraged competition. New market entrants such as Apple, Alibaba, Facebook and Google come from industries such as IT, retail, social media and telecoms, and, therefore, do not fit comfortably within traditional financial institutional structures. A functional perspective might provide more practical insights into this revolution; however, the functional perspective has had a limited impact. This paper will investigate the benefits and limitations of financial functional analysis; probe the underpinning principles of sociology’s structural functional analysis; revisit Merton and Bodie’s (1995) six core financial functions in relation to new entrants in the financial landscape; and, finally, argue that in the new financial environment, functional analysis provides a more coherent and explanatory framework of the financial system for students and practitioners alike.     

Methods for Scalar‐on‐Function Regression

Recent years have seen an explosion of activity in the field of functional data analysis (FDA), in which curves, spectra, images and so on are considered as basic functional data units. A central problem in FDA is how to fit regression models with scalar responses and functional data points as predictors. We review some of the main approaches to this problem, categorising the basic model types as linear, non‐linear and non‐parametric. We discuss publicly available software packages and illustrate some of the procedures by application to a functional magnetic resonance imaging data set.

一类含四个未知函数的方程的非平凡解的存在性的研究

本文利用亚纯函数值分布论的思想方法,对函数方程f117(z)+f127(z)+f317(z)+f147(z)=z非平凡解的状况进行研究,得到如下结果:函数方程f117(z)+f217(z)+f317(z)+f417(z)=z不存在级小于117的非常数亚纯函数解。

从要素禀赋结构、产业结构及贸易结构三者之间的关系出发,看出要素禀赋结构升级不但决定着产业结构升级和贸易结构升级,而且能促进产业链延伸,进而对走出＂比较优势陷阱＂起着重大的作用。     

市场化的创新测度方法——兼对2000～2005年中国市场化区域发展特征探析

文章结合我国经济体制改革的发展现状和重点任务,将"市场化"的内涵拓展为通过一系列经济、社会以及法律制度的渐进变革实现的经济资源配置及个人经济权利的自由化,并据此尝试构建了一套既能对中国市场化进行全面、客观和持续性研究,又与国内外同类代表性研究可比的市场化综合测度方法。并利用这一指数综合考察了2000~2005年中国市场化发展的区域特征和发展趋势,为国内外官方及学术界全面了解中国加入WTO,特别是国家"十一五"以来中国经济自由化程度的现状提供了及时、客观的实证依据。     

大学生英语作文概念功能研究

对35篇我国大学生英语作文和2篇美国学生的作文样本的对比研究,表明我国大学生英语作文的共同特点是:物质过程和关系过程高频率出现,言语过程和行为过程缺失,应加强语场知识学习,提高运用语言的灵活性。     

Exchange Rate Pegs, Fiscal Policy and Credibility

In a fixed exchange rate regime, an exchange rate change can be a swift way to change the real exchange rate in the short run. Fiscal policy also affects relative prices, and fiscal policy response to various types of shocks can therefore be crucial for the credibility of an exchange rate peg. We develop a model within which fiscal policy plays a crucial role for ensuring the viability and thus credibility of an exchange rate peg. We use the insights of this model to take a closer look at Denmark, which has successfully pursued a fixed exchange rate policy since 1982.

基于指数评价法的县级城市主体功能区划分研究——以山西省河津市为例

主体功能区划是功能属性更为突出的综合性区域规划,用来规范空间开发秩序,形成合理的空间开发结构。运用指数评价法,选取可利用土地资源、可利用水资源等8个可度量指标,以及调控指标项战略选择,形成覆盖全县域国土空间综合评价的指数,同时对一些重要的参数进行测算,根据反馈结果对区划过程和方案进行优化,划分主体功能类型,提出区划方案。     

浙江省各县市服务业吸收劳动力情况的实证研究

服务业是未来吸收劳动力的主要途径。文章主要通过聚类分析将浙江省各县市按照本地劳动力在服务业的分配分成几类,然后再分别对这几类的数据进行主成分分析,找出它们在服务业领域的比较优势,进而根据分析结果得出结论。浙江省的各个县市在服务业发展方面都具有各自的潜力与主要发展方向,未来浙江省的三大产业比重会调整到“三、二、一”的局面,服务业在吸收劳动力方面将发挥更加巨大的作用。
