我国高校统战工作引进海外高端人才的意义及其问题研究

在第19次全国统战工作会议上,我国明确提出要将出国和归国留学人员纳入到统一战线的工作范畴中,高校作为海外人才归国发展的首选,已经成为了我国统战工作的重要窗口。文中首先分析了海外引智对高校统战工作所具有的意义,如能够推动统战工作人才库的建设,促进中西方文化交流等。紧接着总结了现阶段人才引进工作所出现的诸如政治制度尚未完善,人才引进重学历轻能力,高校统一战线中西方文化价值冲突严重等问题。最后,文中针对这些问题,提出了一些具体的解决对策,包括合理规划人才引进工作,完善人才的考核制度和加强对海外人才的政治引导等,通过这些措施实现海外高端人才对我国高校统战工作的正向促进作用,推动高校民主制度的日臻完善。

Beyond adoption: sustaining online shopping

Online retailing has the potential to offer remote areas a wider marketplace for their retail products and also a concomitant increase in income. Drawing on secondary Internet-based research, this paper considers the fortunes and future of online retailing in a number of the remote British Overseas Territories. It will become apparent that Internet retailing is an important strategic option for retailers in such isolated locations, but greater attention needs to be paid to issues surrounding operations and logistics, payment systems and merchandising. It is also seen how, despite its apparent ‘placelessness’, the Internet and associated online selling cannot escape the realities of space and distance.     

Motivations of volunteer overseas and what have we learned – The experience of Taiwanese students

The study explores motives for Taiwanese students to volunteer overseas and what they have learned from the trip. Their motivations are classified into pull and push factors. Pull factors include expecting challenge, validating personal perceptions of the place, and getting to know local residents and experiencing the life in a foreign culture. Push factors identified as underlying themes include escaping from daily life to reorganize and relax, look for new ways of life and self exploration, a desire to give back, to make friends who share a common interest, a less expensive way of traveling, encouragement by others, and parental compulsion. The students gain several benefits from this trip, including a better attitude to learning, better communication skills, better stress management, an appreciation of what they have, being more active, becoming more generous and developing empathetic skills, be willing to hear and respect different voices, having trust in co-workers and be willing to admit deficiencies, appreciating a slower life pace, having an open mind, and learning to control material desire.     

关于完善我国城市社区休闲健身服务的几点建议

在现代社会,社区的发展不仅是城市化的一个重要的衡量指标,同时也为满足城市居民精神需求和健康需求发挥着不可或缺的作用。因此,发展社区休闲健身运动可以有力地推动城市健身休闲运动的可持续发展。笔者将借鉴国外开展全民健身运动的相关做法,对我国城市社区休闲健身运动的发展提出一些建议。     

Travel motivations and destination choice: A study of British outbound market

Abstract

Knowledge of people's travel motivations and its association with destination selection plays a critical role in predicting future travel patterns. The objectives of this study were to uncover the underlying push and pull factors of motivation associated with British outbound pleasure travelers as well as to identify key motivational factors that have significant effects on destination choice. Six push factors and five pull factors were found. “Knowledge seeking” and “cleanliness & safety” were perceived as the most important push and pull factors respectively. The results of logistic regression analyses snowed that the British tend to visit the U.S. for “fun & excitement” and “outdoor activities,” Oceania for “family & friend togetherness,” and Asia to seek a “novel experience.” The findings of differential motivational factors across seven destinations suggest that a destination can capitalize on its strengths with an optimal combination of push and pull factors to attract and retain the British travelers.     

Types of Word-of-Mouth Messages: Information Search and Credence-Based Services

Word-of-mouth communication (WOMC) has been recognized as a powerful marketing communication medium and a credible information-gathering tool. To date, the various types of WOM messages have not been adequately studied, especially in credence-based services (CBS). Using the individual interview technique, this study fills this gap by describing the three types of WOMC messages in CBS information-gathering. The results contribute to the ongoing development of WOMC theory and also advance management's understandings of the types of WOMC messages in the CBS information-gathering process.     

浅析我国境外国有资产流失的原因和对策

境外国有资产产权管理不到位、境外国有企业财务管理不严、制度不能得到严格执行等问题的存在导致我国境外国有资产流失严重。为此,应该在清理国资委职责、实行股权多元化等方面下功夫,以尽量防止国有资产的流失。     

抛开得失争议善用移民人才——亚洲开发银行《变移民之失为得-利用海外专业人才》述评

随着全球人才竞争日趋激烈，移民人才的利用问题引起了世界各国的空前重视。亚洲开发银行出台的《变移民之失为得-利用海外专业人才》报告，从政府动员移民的能力、为移民提供的机会和移民归国效力的动机这三个方面对中国、菲律宾和阿富汗三国开展调查，并提出了相关政策建议。文章对该报告进行了简要评述，并结合该报告观点和我国实际情况提出了针对性的建议。     

巴西企业海外上市现象研究

近二三十年以来，巴西证券市场发展滞后，新股首发募集资金量少，在本土挂牌的公司数量逐年减少，而在美国上市的公司数量不断增多。除了宏观因素外，忽视对中小投资者保护的证券法规建设是导致这种现象的主要原因。巴西的经验教训对于我国发展资本市场大有裨益。
