Creative experiences,memorability and revisit intention in creative tourism

The objective of this study was to identify hypothesised relationships among creative experiences, memorability, and revisit intentions in creative tourism. Face-to-face questionnaire survey was adopted and 399 valid questionnaires were collected in the pottery town of Yingge in Taiwan. The results show significantly positive relationships among creative experiences, memorability, and revisit intentions. Structural equation modelling analysis verified that memorability fully mediated the effect of creative experiences on revisit intentions. The study suggests that memorability may be a more appropriate predictor to revisit intentions, particularly in the case of creative activities.     

Revised Unique Selling Proposition: Scale Development,Validation, and Application

ABSTRACT

This article reports an empirical study that revisits the unique selling proposition (USP) concept by delineating the content domains based on an operational definition. A revised USP (RUSP) scale was developed and purified, resulting in five dimensions that were consistent with our theoretical conceptualization. An application study further demonstrated that a high or low level of RUSP characteristics in an ad is associated with ad effectiveness measures. Theoretical contributions, managerial applications, and future research directions are discussed.

Bargaining with Imperfect Commitment

We study the effect of imperfect commitment in noncooperative two-person bargaining games. By establishing the reputation for being stubborn, a player sometimes commits to her initial demand, becoming unable to change her demands or to accept an inferior offer from her opponent. When the probability of being stubborn is small, the set of equilibria is shown to be small and agreement may be reached immediately despite the possibility of stubbornness. A player has greater bargaining power when she is more patient and/or is more likely to be stubborn. Journal of Economic Literature Classification Number: C78.

Gamma-admissibility of estimators in the one-parameter exponential family

Summary Admissibility of estimators under vague prior information on the distribution of the unknown parameter is studied which leads to the notion of gamma-admissibility. A sufficient condition for an estimator of the formδ(x)=(ax+b)/(cx+d) to be gamma-admissible in the one-parameter exponential family under squared error loss is established. As an application of this result two equalizer rules are shown to be unique gamma-minimax estimators by proving their gamma-admissibility.

基于竞争制造商独有零售商的闭环供应链回收渠道的决策分析

主要采用Stackelberg博弈,在竞争制造商独有零售商的市场结构下,研究了闭环供应链回收渠道的决策过程。经过分析论证得出:制造商之间的竞争程度是闭环供应链回收渠道决策的主要影响因素;一般情况下制造商都选择零售商间接回收废旧产品,只有当竞争程度极高时,制造商才都选择不回收废旧产品。
