主成分分析方法在区域经济统计分析中的应用

根据主成分分析的原理和方法，利用SPSS社会统计软件分析得出，2003-2007年孝感市经济发展总体势头是良好的，但也存在一些问题。首先，经济总量不大且增长速度缓慢，需要因势利导，大力调整产业结构；其次，投资增长速度不快，需要依托武汉经济圈的优势加大招商引资的力度；最后，工业基础薄弱，发展缓慢，需要制定政策，引进人才，改进技术。     

VAN DE HULST ON ROBUST STATISTICS: A HISTORICAL NOTE

This paper provides a discussion of an unpublished set of notes written in 1942 by the Dutch astronomer H.C. VAN DE HULST. In these notes VAN DE HULST derives the asymptotic variances of M– estimators as well as trimmed means and concludes that the asymptotic variance of what is now called HUBER'S estimator is the same as that of a trimmed mean. This conclusion is usually ascribed to BICKEL (1965). A letter written by D. VAN DANTZIG in 1943 providing a critical evaluation of. VAN DE HULST'S results, adds interest to this suprisingly early contribution to the theory of robust statistics.     

Jan Tinbergen's statistical contribution to economic policy

In this article I claim that the Nobel Prize in Economics has not only set the economics discipline on a path‐dependent trajectory, but is itself an apotheosis of a development of what I would like to refer to as ‘the statistical turn in economics’. The case of Jan Tinbergen illustrates the argument and sketches the stages within the statistical turn in economics. The Nobel Prize in 1969 acknowledged this character of economics, and justified the continuation of this approach for the generation to come.     

Contradictions of interactive data analysis

Up to now, interactive statistics seems to have bloomed on a creative mess of contradictions and conflicts. But I believe that if we want to advance beyond the present stage, we must try to overcome those. I shall attempt to identify a few of the more crucial ones, ranging from the basics of interactivity and data graphics to issues of large data and data base management, and to distill specific challenges from them.     

A MULTI-SCALE APPROACH FOR THE ANALYSIS OF PROPER SAMPLED DATA SCALE IN HOT-WIRE EXPERIMENT OF SQUARE DUCT FLOW

Without rational criteria to determine the Proper Sampled Data Scale(PSDS),it would result in the expense of the too much unnecessary processing time and storage space in turbulent experiments.A novel approach for PSDS was established herein on the basis of turbulence theory and statistics.The specific procedure was given by using wavelet tools.A case study to prove the reliability and rationality of this approach was reported,where the sampled hot-wire data were from the experiment of square duct flow and turbulence kinetic energy was selected as the concerned turbulence parameter.It is shown that 220 quantities of the sampled data are enough to analyze turbulence kinetic energy in the present experiment.The PSDSs of three turbulence parameters at different Reynolds numbers(Re =4.60×104,7.68×104 and 1.23×105)were studied.The results illustrate that the PSDSs increase with the increment of the Reynolds number and the order of concerned turbulence parameter.
