A note on incentive incompatibility under franchising

This note provides a formal demonstration of the incentive incompatibility problem that exists in franchisor — franchisee relationships. It is shown that incentive incompatibility exists with respect to both price and quality. Several contractual mechanisms designed to mitigate the incompatibility problem are examined.     

Nonparametric estimation of distribution functions

Summary Using Silverman and Young’s (1987) idea of rescaling a rescaled smoothed empirical distribution function is defined and investigated when the smoothing parameter depends on the data. The rescaled smoothed estimator is shown to be often better than the commonly used ordinary smoothed estimator.     

吉林省中部地区水资源配置初探

中部地区水资源总量为39.61亿m3。城市用水与农业、生态用水矛盾突出,城市供水能力不足,水污染问题严重,地下水超采严重,水资源开发利用不协调。该区水资源已无进一步开发利用的潜力,需通过调水工程解决缺水问题。水资源配置思路为从地处松花江上游的丰满水库引水,增加供水能力。     

三线铁路荷载作用下箱梁桥荷载横向分布系数

文章运用有限元程序对三线铁路预应力混凝土连续箱梁桥进行了模拟,分析了三线铁路荷载作用下箱梁的受力特性及在各种荷载工况下荷载横向分布规律,给出了荷载横向系数的实用值。     

明渠湍流床面附近跃移层面颗粒浓度垂线分布

本文以动理学理论的Boltzmann方程为基础，考虑明渠湍流床面附近猝发喷射和清扫运动对跃移层内运动颗粒的不同作用，分析了明渠中泥沙颗粒浓度垂线分布问题，得到了适用于包括跃移层、悬移层在内的统一浓度垂线分布公式。文中着重研究了跃移层内运动颗粒的浓度垂线分布，并将本文结果与实测跃移层内浓度垂线分布及实测跃移层顶部浓度进行了对比，结果表明理论与实验两者符合较好。     

Differentiation between epigeic and hypogeic fauna in gravel streams

The ‘hyporheic zone’ is described. According to the classical definition, water below the sediment surface is groundwater and the hyporheic interstitial zone is part of the phreatic system. This ignores the vertical distribution of the epigeic benthic fauna. The uppermost layer of the sediment (bed sediments) of the hyporheic zone is dominated by epigeic faunal elements and is therefore part of the surface system. In contrast to hypogeic species, the depth penetration of epigeic species is limited. Possible explanations are discussed.     

公有制内按生产要素分配实现形式探析

一般理论认为,按生产要素分配主要体现在非公有制领域和公有制领域内劳动者收入来源的多样性上.但事实上,随着我国劳动力市场的发展和完善,按生产要素分配在公有制领域内将有更大的作用空间.其具体实现形式之一,即为公有制范围内劳动收入由V+Vm构成,而且对企业利润(M)中分配后的剩余部分,仍可实行按生产要素分配,而后者是建立国有资产保值增值机制的一种新思路.     

水库灌区的全程节水技术

本文就水库灌区多方位的水资源浪费状况。提出了水库应采用汛限分级方法多蓄水的观点；结合降雨，作物需水等建立了水库供水、渠道输配水的高效节水模型；同时对水库——渠道——田间灌水等全程节水技术进行了探讨。     

绕扰流片分离流动的壁面压力测量

在风洞中用电子扫描阀进行测压实验，研究了底部间隙和锯齿高度对扰流片引起的壁面压力分布的影响。结果表明底部间隙在g／h≥1．0时对扰流片上游壁面压力分布曲线有较大影响，而对下游回流区压力分布曲线的影响主要在0≤g／h≤2．0的区域内；并且在g／^=0．2、1．0时，流动结构发生改变。另外，锯齿扰流片的当量面积与平板扰流片相等时，锯齿高度对下游底板压力分布特性的影响亦主要限于0≤x／h≤2．0的区域。
