An Analysis of My last Duchess from the Perspective of Narratology

Robert Browning was one of the famous poets and playwrights of the 19th century of Victorian period. My Last Duchess is an example of his draanatic monologues, a poem with a character who presents an account centering on a particular topic. This paper will analyze this poem from the perspective ofnarratology and focus on the speaker and the listener in this poem.
