A finite-difference Total Variation Diminishing (TVD) numerical simulation model for coupling the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations, pressure-relative continuity equation and various k-εturbulence models was developed to solve the incompressible flow based on the pseudo-compressibility method. The hyperbolicity of all these equations was studied and the discretization of the fully coupling equations with all the primal variables and source terms were made in this article. Numerical simulation for modeling the flow around a ground-mounted square rib was implemented and validated by comparing with the published wind tunnel experimental data. It is shown that such a numerical simulation method with a proper turbulence model has a very good accuracy to simulate the flow around a surface-mounted rib. It is concluded that the Renormalization Group (RNG) and Chen-Kim k-εturbulence models have much better ability to predict the characteristics of the vortex structure and flow separation than the standard k-εmodel.  相似文献

Conclusions  
1.  Clearing small silted rivers in the Volgograd and Rostov regions by means of floating dredges confirms the expediency of these works for irrigating farmlands, pisciculture, and improving ecology.
2.  Works on clearing and dredging small rivers have their own characteristics, which should be taken into account when working out the technical documents and performing the works.
3.  Simultaneously with channel clearing, comprehensive measures should be taken to prevent erosion of the banks and pollution of the river by wastewaters.
4.  The project documents should be drawn up with consideration of a multipurpose approach to the use of the river’s water resources.

Conclusions  1. Existing recommendations on the design, construction, and operation of waste dumps for industrial establishments do not correspond to requirements of nature-preserving legislation; this gives rise to the need for development of a unified regulatory document on the fulfillment of design documentation for waste dumps, which do not require burial and which are subject to subsequent utilization. 2. Scientific-research, design, and other organizations having work experience with industrial establishments storing wastes in dumps should participate in the development of the regulatory documents. In that case, attention should be focused on the development of a procedure for evaluating the effect of dumps on environment as a function of geological, hydrogeological, hydrological, and other conditions for sites at which dumps are located. 3. The reliable shielding of dumps, which guarantees that no surface, soil, and ground water will be polluted by seepage flows and which permits the storage of wastes of various risk categories, is one of the most important conditions for the ecological safety of dumps. 4. The method that we have developed for shielding large horizontal and inclined areas, which utilizes chemical silting of the pores of the underlying soils and ensures a given permeability, makes it possible to build shields with a sufficiently high degree of operational reliability. 5. The reagents used to create the gel-forming solutions do not exert a negative influence on the environment, since the gel is in a bound and water-insoluble form and does not pass from the soil layer being shielded into the underlying water-bearing horizons. 小浪底壤土斜心培堆石坝总填筑量为5184.7万m3,基础开挖量达770万m3,由中外3国4方联合中标承包施工。工程开工两年来进展顺利,坝基开挖至1995年底已完成520万m3,并创月开挖强度101万m3的世界先进水平。在大坝填筑前仍然进行了大量的科研试验,如将三区过渡料改在马粪滩开采加工;对大坝上游4A类堆石填筑中是否加水等技术问题进行试验研究,确定不加水填筑。这些成果的实施,将对加快工程进度,确保工程质量,节省建设投资大有益处。  相似文献

Previous research has indicated the need for an in-depth investigation of the role of involvement variables in advertising information processing among young people, in view of the unsuitability of existing adult persuasion models for a young population, the inadequate consideration of involvement variables among young people and the unique characteristics of this population. This study examined the effects of advertising involvement and product involvement on advertising effectiveness among young people, using a quantitative study of 252 4–15-year olds. Results show that advertising involvement and product involvement had a positive direct effect on ad effectiveness. In addition, all endogenous variables—subjective product knowledge, peer and parent influence and age—had an indirect effect on ad effectiveness, via advertising involvement and product involvement. Interestingly, subjective product knowledge and peer influence had no direct effect on ad effectiveness, but rather only an indirect effect. This study presents a more accurate depiction of the complexity of the process and shows that advertising involvement and product involvement contribute to a better understanding of the process among young people.  相似文献
