Uncovering the Risk–Return Relation in the Stock Market

There is ongoing debate about the apparent weak or negative relation between risk (conditional variance) and expected returns in the aggregate stock market. We develop and estimate an empirical model based on the intertemporal capital asset pricing model (ICAPM) that separately identifies the two components of expected returns, namely, the risk component and the component due to the desire to hedge changes in investment opportunities. The estimated coefficient of relative risk aversion is positive, statistically significant, and reasonable in magnitude. However, expected returns are driven primarily by the hedge component. The omission of this component is partly responsible for the existing contradictory results.

政策性农业保险推广对农民收入的增进效应与作用路径解析--对渐进性试点的准自然实验研究

政策性农业保险作为重要的支农政策工具之一,除了起到农业风险管理作用之外,从长期来看还具有促进农民增收等效应。本文通过对已有文献进行梳理,讨论了政策性农业保险推广对农民收入增加的作用路径,并基于准自然实验的思路,将我国各省开展政策性农业保险试点作为外生冲击,利用2000~2016年的省级数据,使用渐进性双重差分的方法,评估政策性农业保险推广对农村居民收入以及收入结构的长期影响效果。研究发现,政策性农业保险试点对农村居民人均农业收入和人均非农收入的影响均是正向显著的,并且有助于区域内农村居民非农收入比重提高,这一效果随试点时间推进不断强化。此外,本文进一步检验了政策性农业保险推广对于城乡关系的间接效应,发现政策性农业保险试点对城镇居民收入的影响不大,对城乡收入差距缩小具有一定作用。

Política de la legislación laboral en el sur de China. Las cámaras de comercio y otros organismos extranjeros ante las leyes sobre negociación colectiva

En 2010, tras la huelga en Honda, hubo protestas laborales en toda China. Los gobiernos de Shenzhen y Guangdong reaccionaron desempolvando los proyectos de Decreto sobre consulta colectiva y de Normativa sobre gestión democrática de las empresas, retirados con anterioridad. Pero tras la oposición frontal de cámaras de comercio y organismos gubernamentales extranjeros, hongkoneses y taiwaneses, volvieron a retirarse. Mediante entrevistas, los autores revelan los medios de influencia en la legislación laboral china de estos actores, cuyas actitudes dependen de la posición de las empresas representadas en las cadenas mundiales de producción y del modelo de relaciones laborales de su país o territorio de origen.     

Houses as ATMs: Mortgage Refinancing and Macroeconomic Uncertainty

Mortgage refinancing activity associated with extraction of home equity contains a strongly countercyclical component consistent with household demand for liquidity. We estimate a structural model of liquidity management featuring countercyclical idiosyncratic labor income uncertainty, long- and short-term mortgages, and realistic borrowing constraints. We empirically evaluate its predictions for households' choices of leverage, liquid assets, and mortgage refinancing using microlevel data. Taking the observed historical paths of house prices, aggregate income, and interest rates as given, the model accounts for many salient features in the evolution of balance sheets and consumption in the cross-section of households over 2001 to 2012.

英国土地增值管理制度的演变及借鉴

研究目的:研究英国土地增值管理制度的演变和得失,为中国的土地增值管理提供借鉴.研究方法:文献资料法,比较分析法.研究结果:英国于二战后数次立法,以发展费或改善金的形式,回收土地增值收益,但没有取得预期成效.1990年以来,地方政府在授予规划许可的同时,以规划义务的形式,回收部分土地增值收益,作为基础设施建设的补偿.研究结论:在土地发展权归国家所有的情况下,要改革深层次的体制缺陷,让土地增值收益部分回归社区.     

一种基于ISD1760的公交车语音报站系统设计

设计了一种基于ISD1760语音芯片的公交车语音报站演示系统。主控芯片采用了基于首款采用ARM cortex M3内核的stellaris系列中具有代表性的LM3S811,通过ISD1760的独立按键模式录制语音信息,然后利用ISD1760的SSI模式接口和LM3S811同步串行端口连接通信,实现语音芯片按照主控芯片发送的信息组合语音片段,让语音芯片一定逻辑播放语音提示信息。搭建并调试了电路,结果表明,该系统能准确的进行语音报站。
